Sorry, but you just can't compare weather teams to broken stuff like mega-kanga :v, most weather teams had a relatively high amount of mons that could counter them, on the other hand, there were very few mons that could beat and/or take hits from mega-kanga, you'd have to either focus on it by double targeting, rely on sitrus/intimidating/burning to take hits or rely on cheap strategies that require predicting such as switching out a mon into something with rocky helmet (garchomp, ferrothorn and amonguss were the most popular ones) and taking a fake out from it, making kanga lose half of its hp right away. Also, in VGC'12 and '13 (years in which politoed and ninetales got their weather abilities) weather teams did get pretty popular at one point, however, people slowly stopped using them and started using 'mons like scrafty, landorus-t, liepard and breloom (i.e. in '13, since most of these weren't allowed/didn't have dw abilities back in '12). TL;DR: Previous years aside from gen 4 are nothing compared to this year in terms of diversity, especially in 2013, which was the most diverse year of all of them imo. VGC'14 was just extremely disappointing to me, but as I said, I have great hopes for ORAS and VGC'15 (:

I actually didn't bother checking the finals this year because the entire year was just boring, there was no diversity at all. Most of the players either relied on a Mega Kangaskhan or had at least three of Garchomp/Rotom-W/Gardevoir/Charizard-Y/Tyranitar/Aegislash in their team. These were literally everywhere, and there were very few people who actually made teams with some originality. Seeing this made me so happy just now, because not only did he use a mon as weak as pachirisu in terms of base stats, but he also used it correctly and went 2-0 on his opponent. Hoping that VGC'15 has a lot more diversity than this year had (ban mega-kanga plz).

qft EDIT: nvm, even the weather summoners themselves are pretty overpowered, especially since we're playing in doubles, a metagame in which battles usually don't take more than 10 turns 'till they're over they should have been banned but oh well guess it's too late

I know lol. As I said, beating the meteors and stopping them from doing an extremely huge catastrophe + passing through the victory road + beating the E4 and Champion no matter how hard they are. I don't know about you but I think that could all easily fit into one episode. Plus it's the last one (I'm assuming) besides the aftergame and I feel like it should be special since we're gonna feel sad and nostalgic once the story is over ):

Why can't the E4 and Champion be on the 20th? o_o In fact, I'd even put beating the meteors in the last episode as well, because, unless the champion is someone like Lin, beating the E4 won't take very long and it won't be that special, meaning there's enough space to fill an episode with beating the meteors and stopping them from doing an extremely huge catastrophe + passing through the victory road + beating the E4 and Champion. Of course, this also depends on the story, which I have no idea how it'll turn out in the end .

Madoka Magica - At first I was like meh, this is going to be another boring childish anime where a girl gets a magical power and has to fight the evil guys, so at that time I didn't even consider watching it. I was later told by friends that it was actually really good and that I'd like it. I found that weird, 'cause they know I'm really picky and that I mainly like mystery/action/gore animes. Somehow, I ended up watching the whole thing (12 episodes and a movie) and I liked it a lot. Turns out it was a very dark anime, something I didn't expect at all, and the fact that most of the characters look really cute and girly just made the shock even bigger. Also, THIS THING. According to the concept, the defenses aren't supposed to be that high and 125/110 is pretty damn good, not to mention that the ability might end up as something like Levitate or Heatproof, boosting its defensive capabilities even more. Therefore, I'd suggest to lower the HP stat down to 60-65, due to what I said previously and also due to the fact that most ghost-types have a very low HP stat and I don't see how the rule shouldn't apply to this one.

True, same goes for all the other water-types that are still unavailable. Plus, I don't see where else could Ame fit them into the game (from looking at the map).

Actually, I believe the symbol isn't really supposed to be there, it's just there because Ame made the PULSE forms work the same way Mega Evolution does. Basically, she gave the mons that can Pulsevolve a "Mega stone" to hold, which is an hold item called PULSE. Then she made it so ZEL would "Mega-evolve" them on the first turn of the battle. I only found this out because, while doing a Dark monotype run for fun (in which I hacked a bunch of dark-types I like just to enjoy it more), my Sneasel accidentally pickpocketed Tangrowth's PULSE . Sadly, I didn't keep it after the battle was over, but still, I'm thinking of getting a Muk with Thief and stealing the Muk's PULSE at the abandoned factory just to try out that thing.

What about Lin? She is an old leader and, according to Shade's gym, she's gonna die sooner or later. Did something happen to her in real life too? EDIT: Ninja'd
