Phantom & Mr.Taylor Lara stood up in the new environment instantly, still in a kind of rage trance. She started towards the masked man once again, but this time she felt something strange. Her breathing was heavy, her movements were not as quick as usual... It felt like she was underwater, trying to hold her breath. Her opponent , however, seemed to move much more fluidly than her here. She saw the old man and Meridian was nowhere to be seen. Whatever. She focused in a sprint to reach the two man but... It turned out her legs were gone. The succubus stared in terror as her own body dissolved in thin air and realized. Wherever they were now, it wasn't Hell, and demons could not exist out of their domain. Shit, that's what happpened to Meridian! With a last agonizing scream, she extended her arms toward Phantom, and a moment later the red headed succubus named Lara was gone, leaving Phantom and Mr. Taylor alone in the Mirror Dimension. ==================================== Rose, Kenny & Byron Byron was peeking through the new path when he heard Rose. "Oh hey, you're back. Are you feeling okay?" the marksman asked the girl. Then, pointing in the direction he was looking before, he continued. "I've found something interesting here by the way. There seems to be a stairway on the ground, going down. Wanna take a look?" ======================================= Ixidor Lilith faced him in a serious manner for a second, and then burst into laughter. After she had recovered herself, she started to talk to the group again. "Ooooh, what a bold young man you've found Mia! Though he clearly has no idea who he is talking to." she started with irony clear in her voice. "And look, it seems he has your angelic version as an body guard. Did he see your true form yet?" By Mia's scared look after this last sentence, she already knew the answer. She turned serious again. "It's very commendable of you to say such words, painter, but I'm not joking around here. Mia cannot leave this circle, and it's not because of my will. We demons are bound to Hell and our respective circles, and if we leave we cease to exist. So your choices really are: stay here with her or go out alone. I won't stop you if Mia agrees with that." Mia stood still for a moment and then spoke, terrified with the revelation. "But mom! You said you'd let us go!" The girl was shaking out of control, tears starting to form in her eyes. "Oh sweetie, I lied. I just needed to see him you know. Either way, you shouldn't be so worried about a man out of all things. Trust me, it's not worthy." Lilith answered with a bored voice. "So, Ixidor McTracy, what is your choice?"

Phantom Lara tried to hold Phantom up, but the sudden disapearance of the ground beneath him caught her out of guard. She started falling alongside him. ======================================== Rose, Byron & Kenny Well, I can't blame them. This was a tough fight. Byron thought to himself, finnaly getting some rest. The mist had almost vanished at this point, revealing a small pathway that he hadn't noticed before. He decide to take look at it while the others recovered, taking care of keeping them on his view all the time just in case. ========================================= Ellaria, Ethic, Annie & Enya A paramedic? So that's what the stranger was... Ellaria could only deduce this was Enya's doing, and this time she was really glad to have the little girl around. "That Rat-Man attacked us, and Annie defeated him... but she got hurt by him... I think she took a shock." She explained to Ethic. Then she turned to her hurt allie, hoping she was concious enough to hear her. " Are you feeling better Annie? Can you walk?" ========================================== Ixidor Lilith stood serious for a while, as if considering Ixidor's proposition. "Very well, but let's put up an hipotetical question: What would you do if told you Mia cannot go with you?Would you still want to go? Or would you stay here with her? " The woman's red eyes locked on the boy's with a cold gaze as she asked that.

By the way, the idea alternate reality thingy makes me remember Steins;Gate "World lines" theory regarding time travel. It's a pretty interesting concept.

Oops, fixing it! ... And actually it's a quite good spinner. It can survive an EQ and one shot Adamant Excadrill, and with an Air Ballon, it's still better. Also survives Aegislash's Shadow Ball and kills it while in Blade form due to it's low speed.

Rose, Kenny & Byron The spear pierced through Aighan's chest, having hit the mark. The Incubbus let out an horrifying scream and fell, the fire now slowly consuming his body. Byron smiled, relieved to think that at least this part of the nightmare was over. "Great aim Rose, I couldn't have done it better myself. Now, how's your shoulder? Should Kenny give a look at it?" ================================= Annie, Enya, Ellaria & Ethic Ellaria heard hurried footsteps as someone approached running. "Who's there? Can you help us?" she asked towards the sound. ================================= Phantom Lara spinned in mid flight, and let her wings hit the sword and knock it aside. The blade did cut them badly, but the succubus didn't seem to notice. Now with the way clear, she grabbed Phantom's wrists with surprising strenght, trying to brute force her way to his neck. ================================= Ixidor Mia walked a bit ahead of Ixidor through the dark passage. There was no source of illumination there, but Mia herself seemed to irradiate a golden light while she walked. "Oh Ix, I'm so excited! Mom told me to present you to her, and if she likes you she will let us go together! I never imagined this was even possible! Lara always told me that I was dumb for wanting to leave, that I would never do it, but she was wrong!" the girl was a portrait of pure hapiness, spinning on her feet from time to time and laughing aloud. Finnaly they reached the bottom of the staircase. Looking around, Ixidor realized they were in a big cave, with no plants at all in contrast to the rest of the circle. Candles lighted the place from the top of the rocks scattered through the cave and, in the middle of it stood an huge bed with red sheets and a woman sitting on it. She was very beautiful. Her long dark hair went all the way to her waist, her skin was white as snow, and her eyes were an startling red. Judging by her looks, one would never say she was Mia's mother - an older sister, at most. "So, you're the painter boy that conquered my daughter's heart... And wants to take her away from me. I'm Lilith, pleased to meet you." She started to say, her voice showing no emotions. "By the way, would you mind telling me why in the nine hells should I let you go?"

Yeah, you guys are right. Maybe it´s just a matter of adapting the battle style. Guess I´m gonna start team building!

^^ True, but there's another thing I just noted: All our types are hit super effectivelly by Ground, aside the grass and flying dual types and eventually levitate. Which also means, any Ground pokémon with access to ice moves and/or rock moves can hit practically any of our pokés super effectivelly. I know that before we were quite over-powered, and maybe I'm wrong, but this might be a potential problem when trying to defensively sinergize a team.

Well, so the typings have changed. What do you think of analyzing it a bit? We lost Ground and gained Poinson in stead. Here goes a link to the available poison pokémon: Poison http://pokemondb.net/type/poison Some notable changes that I can think now are: -We've lost almost all spinners, the only now available being Torkoal and Tentacruel. -Regarding Megas, we've lost Mega Garchomp and gained Mega Venusaur. -We've got one new defoger in Crobat. -Now we've got only four Rock setters: Heatran, Infernape, Nidoking and Nidoqueen. -We've got the famous Charizard Y - Clorophyll Venusaur sun core. -Our cleric and stalling capabilities got way better with lot's of Aromaterapy and Toxic users. So what do you guys think? Oh, and also welcome to the team Kyra!

Volcanic Nation mate, fire is home to us. That said... *Mega Garchomp uses Earthquake!* ... Killing Temp and creating a new hill in the process. King!

I guess it's ok, considering the extent of Enya's powers. Maybe Ace could have helped her? Anyway, just remember that it will take a while for Annie to recover 100% using just conventional medicine. Phantom has time to react, just Meridian got through.

Death Knight or whatever, I'm just glad I can have my flames again. Time to get my count up! Marcus was completely immersed in the heat of the battle now. His back still hurt from the blow he had taken (note to self: never let your guard down near an Infernal Bone Golem), but the adrenaline of the fight helped him forget it. Now that he wasn't holding fire back he started to use a ranged combat technique, throwing a barrage of semicircular flame waves towards the enemy field to clean the lesser undead off.

^I'll keep that in mind. As for Annie, well, let's hope Enya's doctor is competent XD. @ Kenny: You can keep the anvil thing, i had already edited my post. It remembered me a lot of the KotH game btw.

Annie, Ellaria & Enya Ellaria didn't know exactly what was going on, but she heard Annie's weak cry of help. Going to the place where she heard it from, the girl grabbed her companion's hand. It was hot, just as if the girl had been burned, and trembling with spasms. "Help! Someone help here!" Ellaria echoed the other's cry. Then, trying to calm her down, although in a rather scared voice, she spoke. "Annie... Everything is gonna be fine." Then she heard a ripping noise someone appeared near her. "Who's there?" she asked ========================== Rose, Byron & Kenny "Rose!" Byron screamed, worried with the girl's wound, but she seemed to be OK and they had no time to check it now. Aighan erupted in fire, and let out a painful scream. Even then, his flaming figure woudn't stop coming towards the group. "What the...How the hell do we kill this guy?" Byron asked aloud, surprised. Then he put himself to think. If he knew his mitology right, Aighan should be an Incubbus, the demon that originated the vampire's legend. That was as good a guess as any, judging by the way he tried to bite Rose's neck and by his imunity to their attacks. Still, there was no clear way to kill an Incubbus,unless... You aimed in the wrong place "Rose, I'll try to paralize him for a while. While I do that, get another spear and aim for his heart" he hoped he was getting it right and the vampire legends were right. Byron dashed to the right, hoping to get Aighan's attention and shot a bolt of lightining in his direction, hopefully enough to shock him for a while. At the same time, he saw Kenny get up and materilized an anvil(?!), which hit Aighan's head, making the demon lose just enough time for Byron's shot to land squarely. Great timing Kenny! He thought with a smile before shouting at Rose. "NOW!" ((got Ninja'd XD)) ========================== Phantom & Mr.Taylor Meridian smiled at Phantom and answered simply. "Yes." while walking in. However Lara, realising what they were doing, closed her wings and dove over Phantom at full speed, screaming. ========================== Ixidor "Oh yes, that's right Ix! Come, I'll take you to meet mother." Mia answered. She waved her hand and the ground opened with a huge noise, revealing a stairway that went deepdown on the earth. "It's this way!" she told the painter, and started going down. ========================== Ethic Ethic heard twp sounds almost at the same time. One was a huge noise of something moving coming from Ixidor's direction, followed by the ground shaking. Just then he hear someone screaming for help from the other end of the path he was in. It seemed to be Ellaria's voice.

Thanks XD! They're actually very nice to play with, and in this point usefull for the storyline. Aand guess it's time for Ellaria to start doing something. Though finding Kenny at random would be a little forced... uhmn...

Annie, Ellaria & Enya Seeing that he wouldn't be able to avoid Annie's attack, Quincy saved all the electricity in his body and readied it for the discharge. Any struck him like a truck, and he discharged all of it at once in the girl before flying away, stoping with a bang against the trunk of a tree. "Not... funny." the rat managed to say before lying still. ========================================== Rose, Kenny & Byron Aighan flapped his wings with full strenght, going up in a gust of wind and sucessfully avoiding Rose's cards. Then he threw the spear with inhuman strenght towards the girl. Byron tried to shoot him, but the incubbus was to agile in the sky. He did manage to hit his wings, but despite the blood dripping from them, he completely ignored it. =========================================== Ixidor "Is everything alright Ix?" Mia asked as the boy came back. He didn't look like it was; something had passed on between these two men, and she was worried about the young painter's feelings. ============================================= Ethic ((I'll wait a bit for the other scenes to advance, I wanna tie things up before proceeding. You can post Ethic's feelings or something from the Arcana war if you like with no problems.)) ============================================= Mr. Taylor and Phantom The succubus hissed at them loudly. "Oh, you should be carefull with the snakes now." Meridian said casually, after having walked to their side. Before anyone could ask what she was talking about, the vines on the trees came to life, now turned in vipers. They jumped at them from all directions, and Meridian raised a hand. A sudden blast of wind sent most of the vipers flying away, but a considerable amount of them still advanced, ignoring the girl and heading straight towards the two men.
