Hello. Voted for: 1.Episodic 2.A mild balance between the two What makes a RPG (or any rpg-likes games) really good is not a complex story,instead its the characters of that given game. Lets see - 2d turn-based tactical RPG and Hell vs Heaven theme. Keep the story simple and follow what you have in mind till end (maybe with multiple endings or not,depends of the desire of the player not the storyteller). Since the player will a have party (its not fun to be alone ) and for example having a choice to save a innocent angel from an evil demon or helping said demon to kill the the angel,well depending on the choice you will have a new member to your squad.Your party members could have some relationship with each other or with the player and could affect some parts of the story,but it would be intresting to see it since the game would be in a episodic format (dont see why it shouldn't).The player doesnt need to have full control over the story,only needs to enjoy it. Anyway I am rambling and imagining some stuff.Whatever the game will be,I'll support and play it.Ok,bye for now

Not correctly at all.Check the data folder for townmap (dat file),its removed (it should not do that) after you hit playtest...

The downloaded pokemon reborn game doesnt include the PBS folder (which is used in the rpg maker xp),so you cant hit that play test button (so only ame/others can give you those files.....).But,you can test it by loading the game normaly. Also if you want to learn about rpg maker xp+pokemon essentials,then check the wiki ( http://pokemonessentials.wikia.com/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Essentials_Wiki) and then forum ( http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=244 ).And if you need more help,feel free to pm me.

Also,why the heck is an Arceus sealed away in the first place? To keep the anwser short and not looking in all the main points of the story (to make sense to them),its not even an Arceus.

Yup the is one,surf+waterfall are required to reach that place. Also,there is one more,*hint hint* but the player cant see it. I dont know if those two should be added to the list,but if you want to add them-I can help you check those places

Go to you profile,then click on the "edit my profile",then scroll to "manage attachments". Then delete the ones that you think arent of any use anymore,the forum allows up to 500kb in total (sometimes it possible to get away with 600kb or so).

Double battle with Serra...she was to stronk...4 of my pokes are weak to ice,no fire pokes and the 2 pokes left couldnt handle the battle. No matter what I did,the best I could do is leave her with only one poke and she would still keep spamming those blizzards. :Kappa: So much rage...went to get vulpix,magmar and arcanine.And I would do the same thing as she did,1st turn-Sun from Vulpix (switch to Magmar);Arcanine Heat Wave,2nd turn-Magmar Lava Plume;Arcanine Heat Wave....6 pokes sweep in 2 turns,because of the move order bug which Serra abused sooo maaanyy time against me.

Kricketune lvl50 Perish Song with the support of Quick Claw or Sturdy Bulldoze(Geodude lvl 32).

Ok after some frustating rng at begging of the game,trials&errors-the urn got real. So the general strat(in the late game) was to focus with only one poke (Whimsicott) and get an army of low level Sturdy Pinecos (Snubbul+Kirlia made that easy),to leech seed till the opponent fainted.If the strat failed then cotton spore+destiny bond/perish song and if that didnt help Speed Boost Scolipede/Work up Taurous did the job.Defeated Arceus&Garchomp pretty easy.All in all,pp wasnt even an issue,the only problem is that I heavily counted on the support of revives,thanks to helix I did have plenty. Offtopic: Time to play DS2.x_x

@Magus,thats why I am replacing the startes.I need brave and solid pokes for the challange.So if anyone would help me with which pokemon to choose,I would greatly appreciate <3 (Also I am doing this because,other people should take on challenge.Dont be afraid ) @True,but it doesnt matter in reborn,because when you use teleport it will bring you at the Grand Hall (In the begging its a forced pokecenter healing ,after that the challenge begins).You are allowed to enter any pokecenter/shop,just you cant use them for healing or buying from any merchant (you can talk to the any npc or use the pc)

Thats up to the player to decide.(The challange wont count for Garchomp,but if you have the strats and resources to spent,go for it.Arceus same as Garchomp,but you can Yolo it(side with radomus and if you fail,you will be sent to the pokecenter and its RIP)).

About 2 months or so,watched on twitch someone playing Gen 1 Red with the challenge called "No pokecenter,no pokemart"(it was awesome to watch).So basicly it means you cant use healing centers(or healing spots) or you cant buy anything,if you do its game over.So you had to find hidden items and use a planned strat everytime,just to beat the game.So,now in Rebon it would be ridicoulsy hard to pull that off,but image someone does it,would be pretty funny.xD Ok,now here are things I thought about and modifing some stuff: -The starter pokemon are lvl10 when you get them (because skipping some boring and raging stuff while starting off xD) -New starter pokemons that replace the old ones (expect Tepig,so if you have any suggestion which pokes to use,feel free to make a list)(Completed,thanks to Vinny) -Magikarp is free and its moved to Lapis Ward.Lvl19 when you get it. -You get a suprise item at the start of the game ( :Kappa: ) -TM's are one time use,not infinitive. (aka x1) -Considering to buff the event pokes with some more levels (first wanna see how is the run) Rules: -Obvious no healing center/spot (expect the auto double fights heal) and no buying(expect if you are forced by the game to proggres in the story) -Pickup abillity,only 10items can picked up per 10level (lvl 10=10items,lvl20=another 10 items etc).Everything above is thrashed in the cane (by the player). -All Hidden items can be collected and used (expect the broken "X" items,until they are fixed) -At the heartscale move reminder you are allowed to teach your poke a move that it didnt learned before (skipped moves and moves that it learned arent allowed) -Move deleter,you can unlearn every move (but you arent allowed to teach a poke the HM it already had before) -You are allowed to mine every rock (but no soft resetting for a better loot,you take what you get) -You are allowed to catch every pokemon from any encounters as much as you can (yea no nuzlocke,but no soft resettino if you fail) Post any thoughts,suggestions etc Will update if people like the challenge Ps.
