Tip for Taka&Zel: Send out Numel along with Onix and go all in on Glaceon. It must die in the first 2 turns, or it'll wreck your team... Then, when you reach the Beryl Ward, get a Phanpy. Evolve it to Donphan and use the Move Relearner to teach it Magnitude.

(Tyranitar) @ Assault Vest Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Crunch - Fire Punch - Rock Slide Assault Vest Tyranitar is the best. It can take any special attack, even a Focus Blast, and physical moves don't do that much either, unless they are super effective. The 4 attacking moves could counter just about every threat to him.

Dry Skin would also work well on a Rain Team. We can use Toxicroak and Heliolisk for those. And since the others have nearly no fire-types, the drawback from increased Fire damage taken is minimal.

I don't think so. Many Pokémon have been moved to way later in the game, because Ame wants to troll us by forcing us to use weak pokemon... Ralts, for example, is replaced by Gothita, and Ralts is now only available late-game.

Cacnea can be obtained just before the second gym. A girl in the Onyx Ward will tell you how the Daycare Couple (in the Obsidia Ward) is acting suspiciously. Visit the Daycare Couple and switch between talking to the man and women until they reveal their disguise. Defeat them in a Double Battle, then return to the girl. She will give you a Cacnea egg. Hatch it and you've got your own little badass!
