  1. This has got to be the most active thread on the forum right now... I post something and I get a reply not even 3 minutes later... EDIT: Ohwait with beard you mean stomach? Didn't know that
  2. Luxray looks great with that red! Luxio and Shinx, too. No real comments about those... Looks good, but note that on the Bibarel backsprite, you can see the ends of the hands, which are orange on the frontsprite but black on the backsprite. German beavers also support Oregon, I suppose. Another update for our lovely cricket friend:
  3. I prefer the right one, maybe you could give the ends of the hands (the small hands-hands, not the large tail-hands) some beige color too? About Bibarel, the "Öbihornchen" is not a thing many people would know, but I like the concept and the sprite Random question: These shiny sprites will likely all be ready for use before Episode 15. Would we then start with the Generation 5 sprites for EP 16 and Gen 6 for EP17 or are there overlaps?
  4. I like the colors but I suggest you make the entire "finger" parts blue instead of just the tips. I think that'd look better. I love those backsprites, keep it up! I've sligtly changed Mismagius; Old: New: I've also reworked the Kricketot/tune sprites! Here are the new ones: Color: Actual Cricket colors
  5. I would love to see Nemo Lumineon, so please make it orange Kricketotune! Color: Dark Blue and Gold male female dee lee lee lee lee lee lee lee whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop
  6. Punderful. I like that Rhyperior. That color red looks good and is far enough from the original color, but I suggest you make the black a little bit darker to make it fit shiny Rhyhorn/don more.
  7. I LOVE the Gastrodon sprites, they're so blobby and cute Makes me want a Gastrodon in-game... Do you have the Backsprites or are you still working on those? Also, Mismagius! Color: Reborn Misdreavus For reference/comparison: Misdreavus (not made by me) Any feedback for this one and the Honchkrow sprite I made earlier?
  8. Here's a shiny Honchkrow Sprite: Color: Custom Reborn Murkrow for reference/comparison: Reborn's Shiny Murkrow (not made by me):
  9. Looks good overall, but I'm not so sure about red being the right color "grass" stuff. Maybe it fits better with another color such as pure white/light gray? I like the Red Dusknoir more than the white one, but I suggest you fill the red "eye" with a black eyelid, because it misses one whereas the White Dusknoir does have an eyelid, a red one.
  10. I really like the Bastiodon sprite, as the bright white doesn't stand out anymore Also, some possible colors for shiny Chatot and Rampardos: Rampardos Color: Earth Brown with Blood Red Mark Color: Earth Brown with Purple Mark Chatot Color: Taka with Blue Feather Color: Taka with Orange/Brown Feather
  11. I like Red Rhyperior most, but it still looks quite like the original. I'd say Bastiodon doesn't really fit the Reborn coloring, so I suggest you change the color balls to white instead, but that's just my opinion I'll work on updating them a bit. Thanks for all the feedback. I thought about adding a large scar to Rampardos' belly area to make it seem rougher, would that be a good idea?
  12. I changed the Taka colors a bit to make them brighter, and tested out brown-red for Rampardos: They've also been added to my other post. Which ones do you like better?
  13. Shiny Rampardos Sprites: Shiny Chatot Sprites: And the correct shiny Glaceon back sprite:
  14. Maybe you can experiment with changing the field effects to overcome those battles. For example, you can catch a Swinub in the Rock Smash cave before Shade, and have it use Mist, which it learns at level 35 (the level they can be found in that cave). The misty field will reduce the power of Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse, Shade's primary attacking moves, and also gives the possiblilty of transforming the field into a Corrosive Mist Field, which would skyrocket the power of Blaziken's fire attacks. Getting the Emolga in Jasper Ward for the Corey could also be a good idea, since it can learn cut, and has Nuzzle and Electro ball to deal with Corey's Skrelp. Possible Double Team hax? In the case of Swoobat, what might help is catching a Woobat with a +Attack nature and good Attack IVs, so that it can use Heart Stamp effectively, then, once you're at about level 40, catch a new Woobat, which are found in the later part of the Railnet, at level 30+, and make sure that one has high Special Attack to use Psychic.
  15. I'm curious, what are the titles of the previous episodes? For example, Episode 12 was called Demarcation, but what are the names of the previous ones? EP I-IX: ? EP X: Into Darkness EP XI: Out of Light EP XII: Demarcation EP XIII: Cascade EP XIV: outlier.corruption Does anyone know the others?
  16. Here's some other possilbe additions for a speedrun! Vulpix->Ninetales Pros: +Drought boosts Blaziken's power greatly +Learns good support moves such as Will-o-Wisp and Confuse Ray +Acquired easily and early , only requires a mon with high friendship (Blaziken does all the battling so it likely has enough frienship at that point) and defeating a Klinklang (which is decimated by both of Blaziken's STAB attacks). +Extrasensory somewhat complements Blaziken's Poison woes Cons: -Firestone to evolve Vulpix is slightly out of the way -Shares several weaknesses with Blaziken Magnemite -> Magnezone Pros: +Complements Blaziken's Water,Flying and Poison woes +Learns many powerful moves on level-up +Available quite early on (Shade) +Completely walls Aya Cons: -Evolving to Magnezone requires the Yureyu key, which costs LOTS of time to get -Shares a heavy Ground weakness with Blaziken
  17. It does indeed have to do with rescuing the police officers. If you rescue all of them, the field effect is different than when you rescue less or none of them.
  18. In Episode 11 and before, Ralts is in the Peridot Ward in the house just below the Gym, just give money to the homeless guy until he moves. Episode 12 and further, A corrupted Pokeball with Ralts in it is found in the Railnet, you take it to the Pokeball store in the Obsidia ward to receive Ralts there.
  19. I made a mistake there. Ralts is only available in the segment of the railnet that Requires Strength, so that's after Aya. The Magnet Powder is available then, but getting Ralts is actually about 2 episodes later (Kiki and Aya) instead of after Shade. Small question: Is your Blaziken overleveled in your speedrun, or is it always close to the level cap? If it is, you might not need any extra sweepers except for those that cover its weaknesses, so it would be best to look for 4 things in a mon: 1-How well does it complement Blaziken? 2-How effective is it at support (also HMs?) 3-How effective is it in Double Battles? 4-Is getting it worth the time? Carvanha->Sharpedo (obtainable just after 3d badge) Pros: +Counters Ghost and Ground (somewhat) types +Decent sweeper with Speed Boost +Absolutely no time wasted getting (Gang quests must be completed to proceed to 7th street anyway) +Learns Strenght, Surf and Waterfall as late-game HMs Cons: -Getting it right when you can is hard (You must defeat the Aqua Gang Double battle to join them, and beating Water types with Blaziken is hard) -Very frail -Limited utility in Double Battles -Learns only Aqua Jet as a water move until Surf in late-game
  20. Get back to EP10 and get Gyarados EZ GG The main concern seems to be the lategame. I think it would be best to think of 3 'sets' of pokémon that can be acquired quickly: one early on (Up until Shade), one mid-game (Up until Serra) , and one late-game (everything else), keeping some mons such as Blaziken with you for the entire time. For your team, all mons are relatively 'early-game', so your best bet is finding replacements that make it worth your time getting them. Here are some options that I think would be good for speedruns, with the estimated time (measured in badges) that they are viable: Trubbish (from 0th to 2th Badge) Pros: +Available almost immediately +Little training required to be useful in the first two gyms with Toxic Spikes +Can take some hits and act as a 'sacrificial' to heal up an important member Cons: -Usefulness quickly drops after the second gym, being nearly useless even after the point it evolves. -Quite bad moveset (Only Normal and Poison moves) Litleo->Pyroar (from 0th to 4th badge) Pros: +Requires little training because of the Exp.Boost +Very useful against nearly all early gyms, such as Julia (Because it starts at level 15), Florinia, Shelly (obvious) and Shade (with Crunch and Normal type) +has Fire Fang + Moxie to sweep. +Great option up until at least Shade, after which a then available mon can take over Cons: -Overlaps with Torchic and shares several weaknesses with Torchic and Glameow -Bidoof. Just training Bidoof is the worst thing ever and is sure to cost a lot of time and take exp. away from your other mons. -Starts to lose value after Shade Ralts->Gardevoir (Stays Viable) Pros: +Earliest available Teleport (In the Railnet) +Powerful moves once it evolves, such as Moonblast, Psychic and Calm Mind +Can replace Swoobat after Aya (Suggestion: Use Swoobat until you get Ralts, use both until Aya, then drop Swoobat and use Gardevoir instead) +Stays viable because of stats and moveset Cons: -Small inconvenience to get (Corrupted Pokeball is only available after Shade in the railnet, after which you have to go to the Obsidia Ward to retrieve it) -Needs to be babysat until it evolves into Gardevoir -Physically frail -Possibly weak against Aya (Fairy type) I'll update this later after I think of more options. This actually got me interested to try a speedrun too. Good luck.
  21. Sheep, on 26 Jul 2014 - 2:19 PM, said: Up-Grade can be found in the Tanzan Depths. I've included a couple of pictures to help you out with that one, basically it's in that cave. --------------------------------------------------------------- As posted by Sheep in the Item Guide section , the Up-grade can be found in the Tanzan Mountain. Eviolite is unavailable, but a Dubious Disk for Porygon-Z can be found in the Glitch City as a picked up item as well. Keep in mind that you also need a Linkstone, two if you are going for Porygon-Z.
  22. And Diggersby, of course. You can also get Onix from the Hiker in Peridot after beating the first gym, which has Stealth Rock
  23. There are Klinks in the Railnet, but there are no other Steel types available that you don't have yet aside from that. I suggest getting Stealth Rock up as soon as possible in the battle, using Rock Slide from Onix while healing him when needed.
  24. Welcome to hell Reborn! I have one question for you: how can you have problems with the gym battles when you are, in fact, a powerful staraptor?
  25. No problem as long as you're not spending money in real life Inb4 Ame allows us to buy Arcade coins with real money
