  1. I think it evolves at level 30, so you haven't got far to go. Just make sure you get the puzzle right, now THAT is a hard, prickly thorn to pull out of your backside.
  2. Well Shelly starts off with Dwebble. So Combusken, granted you know bulk up, should be able to deal a helluva lot of damage in general with a full boost from bulk up. A recommendation? Probably Azumarill. It can learn Bounce at level 23 as an azurill then you can delevel it so it can learn aqua tail at level 20 as a marill. It learns aqua tail again as Azumarill at level 21, and coupled with Huge power does a helluvalot of damage. So yeh (: Whirlipede can be a good asset with it's poison typing. Be careful though, Shelly's Yanmega knows Ancientpower, and air cutter. I'd recommend you evolve it to a Scolipede before fighting her. And keep poison tail because it can poison, I think. x.x Boldore would do really good against everything except her Masquerain and Yanmega. If you want the movesets of the two I can give them to you. I can also tell you her whole team off scratch (If I remember them correctly. D:) But that's up to you as to whether you want me to make it easier or you want to face the unknown head on~ which is more fun WEEEEEELLL.... I can tell you 5 of them, I've forgotten her sixth (it'll probably come back to me tmrw morning or something e.e)
  3. Can anyone confirm Shuckle's Location? The Reborn Pokemon Watch programme tells me jack shit apart from it's on apophyll Island Somewhere EDIT: It said 'Volcanic Rocks' So I'm assuming either Apophyll Cave, Apophyll Beach (The side that mirrors Mt. Pyrous) and Mt Pyrous itself. D: Well... I DID find torkoal in my desperate search for a shuckle. lol To be exact as to where Torkoal is, it's in the lava clog at the very bottom of Mt. Pyrous. You have to drain the lava first for it to appear, but as far as I know its 100% Encounter rate. lol And yes. I posted a thread asking the same question (Thanks Cobra for answering but I no longer trust the programme :< ). But, yanno. Desperation, yeh? lol D:

    Dragons!

lol >> that spoiler is old news for me, passed it at least 5 times now (Hydreigon knocks Saphira out of the sky and then she blasts the wall through) I, well, we keep trying to tell you, there are few dragons in game, save for flygon, noivern, and Altaria (I clean forgot about altaria). Hydreigon ain't showing up anytime soon, I can guarantee you that. Neither will Deino. Or Dratini. Or Gible. Or Axew. Or Bagon. No matter how much everyone begs and wheedles to Ame. I've tried. :I EDIT: Personally, I would LOVE a Kingdra. Water/Dragon makes it weak only to Dragon/Fairy~. And it has a decent special attack stat and is basically the most resistant dragon in game. Unless there are others I don't know about o3o EDIT 2: Make that two gym leaders. Well, 3, if Saphira comes along anytime soon- OOP. Spoiler on Saphira's typing~

    Eevee

Thats after you read the captains log, and it's a windy night.
  6. I was pretty sure Noel's one did when I fought it. I know MINE had those moves. o3o (PLEASE dont tell me Im delusional and I think I fought my Clefable because I stuck that thing in one of my pc boxes and left it to rot :/ It's kinda bad in terms of where I'm at) Welp, I got ninja'd to it, but I can't help but reiterate that Wigglytuff's kinda crap. Sorry if that offends. :/ Byxbysion Wasteland. You have to use teleport while riding a tauros to get it there. In other words, your last Healing spot has to be there. Furthermore, Ame noticed that glitch and scripted it out in 10.5. So make sure you don't try and do it in that episode. (I haven't actually done this myself so I have no clue how to do it, but y'know, I'll find out eventually, I find out everything eventually~ )
  7. True dat. Infernapes are really good. But honestly? Like Blaze said, few people can withstand Infernape/Monferno with Iron Fist. Off topic, (Well I guess this post I'm typing is kinda off topic isnt it.): Blaze, I can't help but notice that you've said that you want Ditto, and that raises the question: Can you trade on reborn? Because I kinda doubt it. x.x
  8. You can't get them x.x they'll knock your pokeballs to the side. ADJSLDKALSJKSFHKSDHGSDFKHSKFHSKFH. I passed that stone like a million times qq AJDSJSAHJFHJSFGHJADHJSFGH. HAIL. YOU FOUND HAIL ERMAGAHD
  9. As of Generation 5, this is it's moveset: Lv 1- Scratch Lv 1- Leer Lv 1 and Lv 7- Ember Lv 9 - Taunt Lv 14- Mach punch Lv 16- Fury Swipes Lv 19 - Flame Wheel Lv 26- Feint Lv 29 - Torment Lv 36 - Close Combat Lv 39- Fire Spin Lv 46- Acrobatics Lv 49- Slack off Lv 56- Flare Blitz. EDIT: Sorry bout earlier, that was a mistake on my part, edited so its more comprehensible x.x I question why you'd need to know, if you're just starting you need to calm down a little bit, because the better moves come later on and you wont need to worry too much about a set of moves until about the 4th gym leader.
  10. uh, in 10.5, the entire event is changed, are you playing 10.1? Read my damn post again pretty please >>
  11. Oh thank god. I lost that report because I progressed after Aya and forgot where it was. Thanks Cobra~
  12. lmfao that's exactly the same problem I have, except mine is rain and wind. I expect it's a bug in the script, I'll mention it to ame. In the meantime, just play without I guess. I myself am at a wits end trying to figure out how to change the weather as well x.x
  13. *blinks* Hi. Um.... I'll just be dat random stranger who just popped out of nowhere. Um.... I'm guessing Vinny.
  14. You mean Cradily? By the way, if you're playing 10.5, you can't get scraggy until you've beaten Kiki. Makuhita* ^ What he said.
  15. Umbreon, Honchkrow, Sharpedo, Spiritomb/Tyranitar, Houndoom, Malamar. Theres alot of combos, but I think thats most likely mainly because it's a mix of everything, since she's all 'Infinite Potential is everything' and whatnot :/ I think you're right when you say you're pushing boundaries, I mean, That team setup is based a lot on offense. :/ Crawdaunt, hmmm...... I don't remember it's stats, but maybe. Umbreon, Definite. I can see it in her eyes. Tyranitar? a Pseudo legendary? I doubt it. Honchkrow, I agree with. Malamar..... yeah I guess. Houndoom? Nah. Maybe, but... actually nvm that's a good idea. I like the idea of Umbreon and Scrafty. Liepards a dead giveaway, you'd assume Ame would be thinking to cover it's type disadvantages. Drapion maybe? Malamar as well. Bisharp... Yeah I guess but again, dead giveaway to fighting. Dark weaknesses... Miracle Eye makes Drapion a weak point, but then again few pokemon CAN learn Miracle Eye, so... - ....I might have to rethink my team again. Here we go: Malamar - This princess will remove fighting disabilities. But it's prone to bug types so it's exploitable. Umbreon - The Signature Pokemon and the main line of defense? Exploitable if you have a pokemon with guard swap. Honchkrow - With a Flying/Dark Duo it's more resistant to fighting types. Generally high attack, exploitable through it's low defense. Sharpedo - SpeedSweeper. High Attack and Speed, Disappointingly low defense/special defense. Again, Exploitable with a pokemon like Crobat (if his Ice fang doesnt swipe you down first) Drapion - Defense/Attack master. It's shellcasing gives it a bulky defense stat, making it far more impervious than most of Luna's team. It's Poison typing also nullifies the Fairy weakness that the rest of his team (exception of Houndoom) has. Houndoom - Fire/Dark. While totally open to Fighting/Ground, it nullifies the Bug type weakness that Malamar has. With its high offensive capabilities it's quite the sweeper set up with a nasty plot and dark pulse/flamethrower. Possible Movesets? Malamar: Calm Mind, Topsy-Turvy, Psychic, Dark Pulse. Umbreon: Sand-Attack/Toxic, Moonlight, Feint Attack, Confuse Ray Honchkrow: Brave Bird, Night Slash, Haze, Shadow Ball Sharpedo: Aqua Jet/Waterfall, Ice Fang, Crunch, Swagger Drapion: Toxic Spikes, Hone Claws, Cross Poison, Night Slash Houndoom: Nasty Plot, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball Luna MIGHT have a cacturne, but that opens bug type weakness again, so I doubt it.
  16. Yay. Habit breaking time. x.x

  17. Eh. I guess you can't do it then. I could though for some bloody reason. How weird. You'll get it later. I went to get it after I beat Radomus. But I don't know if you can get it beforehand. I know for sure you wont get it right after you find Saphira. So yeah. Play on, my friend. Numel can also be found in Mt. Pyrous as well. I found one earlier and drenched it by accident x.x ah well, I wasn't particularly keen on one anyway. Y'know that house in the Peridot ward thats just under the massive gates? They're in that house. SPOILER! --------- Enter, and the thug will make you pay 5000 and then battle you. He uses a Clawitzer and a Fletchling. Beat him and then they'll just give you the magikarp and run off.
  18. Dahling, Im part english. No seriously, I am. Why would I hate on London? (My friend has a part cockney accent and I love him to bits in a friendly way) Although, I have a northern accent lol >> Like I said, 500 posts to go~ C: True, but I still had to squint my eyes a bit x.x But, like you said, I got it in the end lmao Ill translate it into a few points for you: - New mods - Re-Emphasis of the Ace Member Post Count limit (at 500) - The removal of the Onyx Arcade Section of the Forum counting towards posts. - A Cap on the Reborn Rupees one person can hold at any given time. Don't you just love it when a Northener can translate Southerners? It's a rather ambitious job that certainly gives the fair about of bollocking at the difficulty of cockney slang. (:
  19. Moxie doesn't work in 10.5. That being said, Bite becomes rather pointless as Clefable converts into a fairy type. And his Cincinno has skill link (repeated attacks have a consistent frequency of 5) so if bite misses, you're fucked since cincinno has decent attack and knows rock blast :I EDIT: But literally, I haven't said anything constructive to help you, so, here I go~ I like your team so far. As long as your pokemon have speed thats above average you should be fine. That being said, A few things to look out for are: Cincinno: That Cincinno has it's hidden ability Skill Link, which makes all repetitive moves hit you 5 times. It knows Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, and Tail Slap, and I think Tickle, which is a helluva annoying move if it hits you more than once. Seriously. I'd recommend Blaziken, but you're far too deep in game to get it anyway. Staraptor: This thing's High attack stat coupled with it's intimidate ability makes it formidable, especially because then you're unlikely to 1HKO it. That being said, your gyarados having stacked Dragon Dances should cancel that effect, so no problem. Porygon-Z: This thing, is a speedsweeper. Being the fastest on the team (assumably faster than Noel's Staraptor), it makes it a helluva hard wrecking ball to stop because of it's special attack and it's download ability, which is irritating. BUT, Gyarados coupled with Dragon Dance, And rain dance should be able to knock it out with Aqua Tail, or Ice fang (either way one or two dragon dances with Ice fang/Aqua tail will take it out, it's defense/special defense is it's weak point). If not, I recommend Gallade, because of it's extremely high special defense (33/50, standing at 115 base special defense) and it's not weak to anything but flying, fairy and ghost (Porygon will unlikely have shadow ball). Swellow: Flame Orb, Brave Bird STAB advantage, and it's guts ability make this bird a total wrecking machine. Just bring Cofagrigus. And then, use power split on it to weaken it severely. Trust me thats what I would do. It's a good idea. Clefable: As of 10.5 this bitch becomes a fairy type, screwing Noel's monotype team (I mean WHYYYYY...). Knowing Moonblast, Meteor Mash, Cosmic Power, and Minimize, it makes a formidable foe, but why Ame put A physical attack on a Special Attacker beats me. I kept to stored power instead of Meteor mash hahah. Crobat should have no problem wiping it out, Two or three poison fangs and its gone. A few pointers: ---> Unless your Crobat is a special attacker, I'm baffled by why you kept air slash. Bite is by far a better move and can do well as a flincher and the only move Crobat learns that takes out one of it's type disadvantages, the Psychic type. I'd recommend relearning it. ---> That Torterra needs a rock type move. Staraptor will swipe it in one brave bird, and swellow in two. to top it off, Swellow has a flame orb (beats me why he gave it that, swellow..... has guts... right.)... never mind. ---> Get A pokemon with high defense on your team. Aggron is a recommendation, at level 42, if you rare candy it from 15-40, it has a defense of 175 as an Aggron. It was ridiculous, this thing tanked an avalugg's earthquake with 3 stages of Iron Defense, 3 times. I managed to Iron head it before then lmao. ---> A Psychic type will also do you REAL good. I recommend Mr. Mime or Gardevoir. Mainly Mr. Mime because it's quicker and can set up a reflect and probably do some damage in general before one of his pokemon knocks it out. I highly recommend you save it for Swellow or Staraptor, because both birds have a severe disadvantage to special attackers. I'm starting to realise maybe why you kept Air Slash. ---> ANY rock type will do you SERIOUS good. High defense always does you good against Noel, his team mainly revolves around physical attackers. Watch out for Clefable and Porygon Z if you do take this recommendation into account. ---> The pokemon I recommend you keep are Lucario and Gyarados, mainly because they both have advantages against this gym leader. Thats all from me, good luck~!
  20. ^ I got ninja'd. But anyway, Like arkhidon says, Porygon-2 needs a dubious disc. But the only place to get one is in the Obsidia Dep. Store's eighth floor with the rest of the Evolution items (Probably.....), and there aren't enough stickers either way to get to the seventh floor (unless you had ep 9), much less the eighth. EDIT: when I say ep 9, I mean that during the transition from 9 to 10, the chrysolia spinel town sticker event got reset, so people had access to a 6th sticker. qq I want those damn stones D:
  21. Nosepass is in the Apophyll cave~ you have to use rock smash there. (this is what I get for trying to find a shuckle?! - throws nosepass at a wall -
  22. I just used a cofagrigus/Gourgeist Combo. Will-O-Wisp/LeechSeed/Curse and then I just seed bombed everything except staraptor. Never in my life have I been more appreciative of Status inflicting moves. :I
  23. A tip: Be careful what you pick, she covers her type disadvantages with ease, so yeah. x.x

    Dragons!

Fairy types do appear later in game. Don't worry about it. Im guessing you've just started right? Don't worry too much about your team right now because you'll be constantly switching pokemon out for every gym almost. So yeah, go with the flow, let your brain do the rationalising, and don't panic about dragons. Like has been said, theres noibat and trapinch, but trapinch needs 10000 arcade coins and noibat is a pain in the arse to train (as I have already stated, unless you can bring yourself to, I know I can't lmao) And neither are overly excellent (Flygon has a great movepool but in terms of stats its decent :I and Noivern has a shitty movepool until about level 60 :I) Don't really worry about Ice types, They're not as good as people assume them to be. Trust me, the type disadvantages the gym leaders have are totally eradicated by their pokemon party. For example (SPOILER) y'know the grass type gym leader? Well, you'd assume to go straight for ice/fire/flying/bug, yes? I tell you now, she has a surprise up her sleeve that knocks ALL these pokemon out. You'll see early on if you haven't already. But yeah, to the point, dragons arent as much use here as they were in the original games. They might have a use for one or two battles but thats really it, and again, you'll be switching out a hell of a lot (I took AGES to find a decent party for half the game, and I switched out 4/6 of them for the Ice type gym leader :I she's fucking strong, and seriously, fire types are at a SERIOUS disadvantage with her. Even certain rock types.) qq EDIT: If you want me to recommend some pokemon that might be of use, you can ask me, I don't want to spoil the game any further lmao EDIT 2: Also, Variety is less of an importance than strategy in terms of Reborn. You could have all types on your team and still you'd be at a disadvantage if you put even one foot onto cracked Ice >>, as the dark type gym leader will say for you eventually, 'I'll give you a hint, if you look, you will find that there is infinite potential in whatever you do.' Or she;ll say something like that.
