Which version were you playing when this bug first occured? I remember seeing a thread a few years ago from people having the same issue because they were going too far with a character, letting one behind between 2 puzzles or something.

I played for a bit, until the first fight against a NPC Scientist. Everything's fine on my computer. Do you have 13.0.5? In any case your savefile is fine so I suggest you redownload the game .

Okay, so I chose to enter the code to use Legacy sprites at the beginning of the game. No issues or bugs so far. I've gotten to the point where you first go to the past with Melia, and am now at the point where you're supposed to change clothes to progress the story.
Problem is, if I choose to change clothes it just changes my sprite from the Legacy version to the current version. From there I can change between the two forms of the current character sprite, but even with debug I can't find a way to change back to the Legacy one, and as far as I can tell I can't progress the story without choosing to change clothes.

In the Introduction speech, the code to enable legacy skins applies a script that sets the player outfit to "2". The box that changes your clothes either set this prop to "1" or to "0" and then updates the 259th variable in debug mode "OUTFIT" to the same value.
So what you can do
- change clothes to progress in the story and in debug mode change this property to 2
- if it doesn't work, open the game using RPG maker and in Aevium (past) -> Amberette town -> amberette town -> clothes box script, update 1 of the scripts to set the prop to 2
- ignore the whole clothes thing and just set the 246th variable in debug mode "Post8thBadge" to 11. then save / close / reload the game to apply i guess
I think I can do it for you if you want, just drop your savefile :)

@vivaCH I went up and took the door. I don't see any problem in your save. Are you running the latest version of Rejuvenation (13.0.5)? Maybe try downloading the game again?

So, who are you?I'm Kyuu! I wanted to join the community a few years ago but was struggling with uh stuff (c o m m u n i c a t i n g) and basically just gave up trying to interact, I just followed things from afar, on the site & discord. Eventually (like a month ago) I started being interested in helping people with their Rejuvenation save file by trying to understand how that world is working and that should be 99% of my posts from now lol.

I just understood why: updating the files basically updates the whole game so to make it work, I have to give you my full copy of the game, or zip you all the updated files (and you replace them yourself) ; or you could make the change yourself using rpg maker. I can wetransfer the game / files to you if you want, or explain what to change :)

Thanks, here's my file. Apparently this bug only happens when i try to teach "zen headbutt" or "gastro acid" (i even put pokemon in my part that can learn the moves for you to test).
Liquidation, Drill run and stomping tantrum seems to be working fine.Works fine with my game, I did update a file thought. Can you try again by replacing your Pokemon Rejuvenation/Data/Map601 with the one below & tell me if it works? I did try with Zen Headbutt & your Cinderace, and Gastro Acid & Ekans
If you really can't make it work, just tell me what moves you want to learn :)

Can you drop your save file here? Best would be if you save right in the house with the Goomy causing this issue.

Go to C:/Users/[you]/Saved Games/[the game you want to back-up], back up what you need (likely the whole folder) then move it, on your Mac, to your disk/Users/[you]/Library/Application Support/[the game].

Drag & drop your game.rxdata into the box to poste your savefile. You can do it in your first message by editing it!

In your game folder, you should have a shortcut to the location of your savefiles. If you can't find it, you can reach it by going in C:/Users/<you>/Saved Games/Pokemon Rejuvenation/. Update your message by linking the Game.rxdata that you will find here

It's possible. You'll have to modify a game's script however.
Find the PokemonTextEntry.rb file located under the Scripts folder. Line 1492, replace maxlength with the number you want. Save the file, launch the game.
Keep in mind that the 12 characters limitation is surely here for a good reason and you might come up with unexpected behavior if your pokemon name is displayed (like, going out of the status box in battle)

the safer way should be smth like: you can just go to your Pokemon Rejuvenation Save folder, copy/paste elsewhere your Game.rxdata (like in your game directory), then for each backup starting with the most recent one (they're supposed to be named for easy sorting with the datetime etc) : copy paste it in the same folder and rename it Game.rxdata, have a look inside, then move on to the next one

Hi! Hope you guys are all doing fine.
I've encountered the exact same bug as being described in the Rejuvenation V13 - Bug reporting (Responses) (line 639) regarding the Valor Mountain.
TLDR; I've entered the Valor Mountain and went ahead of the blocking gates (where Saki & co + her invention breaks them) before triggering the Melia's departure cutscene in the Resort.
I'm not quite sure when I was supposed to trigger it, as I went to see Melia after the "dream" when she spokes to herself with Angie and nothing happened, so I just went to the mountain...
Anyway, here's my savefile. If you could unlock my situation that would be awesome!

EDIT: Well nevermind, I managed to solve this by myself. I just set the 0181: Post7thBadge variable back to 37 to trigger the specific event at the mountain entrance to get the item and now everything's working fine. Sorry for the disturbance!
