So... remember Shamylan's Last Airbender movie? The movie that was based off what's probably history's best TV show, and ended up being one of history's worst movies? Well, it was a financial success. It made over half its budget, presumably because people didn't see the director's name and assumed it would be as good as the show. And guess what. It made enough money... to confirm a sequel.
