    Episode 12.1 was back when we still ran on gen 5 breeding mechanics, right? Because I tried to breed Scald onto a Wailmer there, and it didn't work, but then I sent the file to an old episode 9 folder, and it DID work...

      Yes, 12.1 still has TM Breeding, IIRC

      Well I didn't do anything different between 12.1 and 9, so I guess it's a bug on 12.1's part.

      Most likely yea. There are some moves that I tried to pass down and didn't work unfortunately.
