    By the way, Cubones in Sun and Moon can call Kangaskhan allies.  So that theory's pretty much confirmed.

      Ive heard people say that, but how does that "confirm" the theory, I see it as Kanga being a motherly pokemon and wanting to take care of the orphan.

      If Kangaskhan wanted to help random babies on the route, it would appear for other Pokemon on the route.  Magby is actually a baby Pokemon who lives on that route.
