  1. Maybe it's because the church has changed so we can't access the Grounds of Theolia since we came from an older version...
  2. There's a teleportation pad to West Gearen in GDC train station. Then you go to Kyrstilline town (or whatever it's called) through the usual route. In the church of arceus, the entrance should still be in one of the rooms there.
  3. I thought so but there is a snorlax in the way though... How do you get rid of Snorlax? EDIT: Never mind, seen it. Thanks
  4. Where do you take the Oshawott that is on route 7? I was thinking route 8 but the Snorlax blocks access to the beach
  5. Gardevoir wrecks everything in this fight once you set up a calm mind or two...
  6. Should have revised earlier but v9 came out so completed the main story to that instead...

I still got a bit done this afternoon though so not too distracted.

  7. Watched the Sky News political Q&A session for Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn. Let's just say her answers were not very 'strong and stable'

For those of you who are interested in watching the whole thing (About 1hr 30mins for the whole thing):

  8. Whoops, kinda spent too long on that practice question. I found it really interesting talking about arguing between the right in the freedom of information on the Internet against local laws...

  9. The aftermath of these terror attacks is just as sad as the loss of life during the attack sometimes. I feel for the relatives and friends of those who have died during the attack. Me and some friends held a few minutes silence in the library as the school couldn't hold it due to year 11 GCSEs. I felt that some of the media were very disrespectful towards the incident, with one newspaper focusing on slandering a political party rather than gathering accurate information about the bombing and delivering it in a sensitive way. It's also saddening how these terror attacks are causing hatred towards Muslims when it's a minority that have radicalised the religion as a tool to hate against the Western world. It annoys me how the public aren't working with Muslim communities as much as they should to help them feel integrated within society, this may prevent radicalisation of Muslims who feel that ISIS ideals are correct because of prejudice received from white people and those in other religions. However, I also note there are some people joining ISIS just for the "lolz". The media never reports any condemnation of ISIS from people within the Islamic community, which is not allowing some people to see that most Muslims oppose what is going on. Yes, it was heartwarming that the taxi drivers turned off their charging meters for the night as well as that one bloke who came to Manchester to take people around even though he had work the next day. However, the acts that followed later are unforgivable and the actions are not acceptable. I hate how innocent people were affected because of a terror group that uses their religion as a scapegoat to justify their shitty acts. Why can't people accept that most Muslims do not condone ISIS's actions just like many of the Irish did not condone what was going on with the IRA?
  10. Who knew I could be so jealous of a glove... Otayuri confirmed?

  11. Wow, they focus on attacking a political party leader at a time where all poltical parties in Britain have agreed not to do anything related to the general election for that day to pay respect to those in the Manchester bombings. Shame on the Scum (The Sun) for attacking Corbyn during this sad time.

They're not just a bunch of liars but the company as a whole is so immoral that they would do anything to smear the political party they don't agree with. I feel bad for the Conservatives as that is the very paper that supports them.

Whilst I personally don't agree with the Conservatives, I hope the Sun's horrific lies aren't the reason Labour win the election. I would want Labour to win for their manifesto not because a overly-bias newspaper is being a bunch of insensitive fools.

  12. Thank you to all that have posted on here. I have been watching here, looking at social media, the news and many different articles and papers. I'm currently torn between Lib Dems and Labour as I feel that I couldn't vote Conservative as my morals wouldn't sit right if I voted for a party that would easily privatise as much of the NHS as they can. I wasn't really thinking about Lib Dems until I read their manifesto, which as brilliant but I feel there is a possibility they are trying to cater to everyone a bit too hard. Labour's manifesto was also really good although there are some parts that I feel that are unrealistic. I haven't read the Conservative manifesto yet but I will still read it despite not voting for them as I'm genuinely interested in what they're going to say. I'm also interested in what the Green Party have to say but I won't consider voting them in until the next election due to management of post-Brexit. I admit there has been a lot of beating around the bush when answering questions from all parties but I feel like Theresa May is downright ignoring them or giving a response that does not answer the question unless it is pre-planned.
  13. Gloves are off, claws are out. Time to take them down!

  14. I watched a subbed version of a Youtube playthrough of DGS1 and I enjoyed it.
  15. Hello, what are you all looking forward to seeing the most in Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2? To anyone viewing the topic, there may be more and more spoilers as Capcom reveals more about the game so that is my warning. One of the things I'm looking forward to is seeing how Holmes messes up his deductions over trivial things that really don't make sense. But I'm looking forward to seeing character development of Holmes and Iris in general. They're my favourite characters!
  16. The ignorance of people on the difference between sex and gender really annoys the living hell out of me. I hate people who says there's only 2 genders.

I can take people taking opposing viewpoints and beliefs in some topics (such as music taste, religious beliefs and some political topics) but denying the existence of a person's identity is not right. There was this dude being really disrespectful towards my friend (who is gender-fluid) when she pointed out about the gender/sex difference in a way just to explain and was said quite well. She even posted some links to some websites to help explain it to him.

I think if people don't believe that there are more than 2 genders then they should keep that viewpoint to themselves when commenting in an LGBT post about different sexualities and gender identities.

By Sartre's definition of the identity, the struggle of the honest person is to reconcile their etre-pour-soi (being for themselves, self-perception) identity to correspond with their etre-pour-autrui (being for others, others' perception of the self) identity. At least both are legitimate, arguably the latter is more so because it can outlive the first by millenia.

Much of our identity, perhaps the majority, exists in the eyes of other people. If society defines you to be something, then you are that something; and if there is a difference between your internal and societal perceptions of identity, then it is your responsibility to reconcile this by either convincing society or changing yourself.

Essentially, because gender and gender roles are social constructs, society determines gender, not the individual. If enough people in a society say there are only two genders, then there are only two genders. It's not an ignorant stance, it's reality. I personally believe there are more, as do you and your friends. But by the existentialist definition, outside of echo chambers, genders beyond 'man' and 'woman' do not exist.

That was an interesting fact there Hugh. I think society is changing to take this into consideration. Whilst many of my friends are very accepting about there being more than 2 genders, my family are not so. The main reason why many people don't accept it in my mind is because the concept gender identity and sexuality has expanded greatly within the past few decades and they haven't had time to make sense of the gender identities of others.

It's sad that many people don't understand that gender identity is a spectrum but I think within the next decade or so then people will become more understanding of that. That is if the increasing concerning amount of voices that are trying to push us back into early 1900's version of patriarchy are ignored. I could have more of a discussion of those voices but I'll only mention it if it was more relevant...

  17. Been re-watching Yuri On Ice to deal with revision stress. Kinda got looked at weird for singing along to Shall We Skate and JJ's theme. I never forgot how great this anime was but I appreciate it even more a second time watching it :)

Yeah. It's really funny how he's so grumpy/complaining with certain things like fans fawning over him, Victor coaching Katsuki, and other things, but he actually likes the fans (defended them when JJ insulted them) and he's just jealous of Yuri. He also offers Pork Cutlet Russian style to Yuri to encourage him. The meeting with Otabek was quite nice too, what with being asked to be a friend of him.

I hope they span out more of the interactions between Yurio and Otabek as well as the relationship between Victor and Yuri :)

  18. Well looks like I owe them £10, oops...

  19. I wish the French the very best within their elections. From what little I've heard, I believe that Macron is the best choice. In my opinion, Le pen is not the best choice as far-right decisions not only deal with what they say but it could spur on a spike of hate crime. As sad as I am to admit this, this happened in Britain after Brexit was announced and perhaps even before then. Good luck to the French and may the best candidate win...
  20. I think it was rather clever of her to get it done at this time of the year as well as whilst the other parties are in shambles. I think when voting people need to look at not just what each party plans in terms of Brexit but look at the other policies each party wishes to implement too. I fear people will just vote on what the party will do in regards to Brexit, whilst that is important so are other policies. I don't think I will vote for the Tories though as I don't currently trust them at all, not to say I trust any of the parties. The manifesto of each party will be an important thing in my vote. The US election was rough for some of you guys, I don't blame you for being burned out from that.
  21. So the snap election has been called by our prime minister and it is coming upon us. So I have a question to ask of you Rebornians: If you voted in the British general election, which party would you vote for and why? I'm just really interested in what people want to say and want to understand their reasoning rather than using the media to help me choose since they are biased between different parties. I do have one rule in this thread which I think you guys would follow easily since during my time here, you guys have been very respectful towards one another. Respect the viewpoints of other people and do not belittle them because their views do not fit in with your own. You are allowed to debate and challenge the views of others if you can do so in a way that will not offend anyone. With that said, let me hear your views.
  22. Never knew Tentacruel could be a decent pokemon. If I did a future playthrough of another pokemon game then I would use it again :)

Guilty! I did a mainly mono-poisontype run of Heartgold with just one slot for non-poison types. Tentacruel was rather great. I also had a Haunter, Nidoqueen, Crobat, Ariados, and then swapped between Typhlosion and Jynx whenever the time needed. I did this as Cain makes the one exception for Oshawott so I thought it'd be cool to leave a slot open for another pokemon

    3. Wolfox

      Wolfox

I don't use is that often because when it comes to water types there few I actually like.

    4. Ojama Yellow

      Ojama Yellow

rarity REALLY should not play as much of a role in how pokemon are judged strength-based

just look at magikarp and gyarados- virtually everywhere and yet really powerful (as a gyarados anyway)

  23. They're that good at telling BS that they should become a lawyer within the ace attorney universe...

  24. One minute I'm feeling overwhelmed by social situations but the next I'm lonely as hell. This is so confusing

  25. So they announce a second Dai Gyakuten Saiban game properly but still no localisation for the first :(
