But they always catch things in their pitfalls: themselves

  2. Fairy Tail Episode 12: AKA the only episode during which people call Lyon "Reitei". Then it is revealed that his surname is Vastia and the whole "Reitei" business is never mentioned again. Did they actually explain that at any point?

  3. Fairy Tail Episode 11: pop quiz time! Can you name (without googling it <.<) the first character whose past was expanded on with a full arc?

Every single, yes. Lucy gets Phantom Lord (and anime-only KotSH), Grey gets Galuna, Erza gets Tower of Heaven, Laxus gets Fantasia, Cana gets Tenrou, heck Happy and Carla get Edolas. The Take Over trio are also expanded on before and during Edolas, Loki gets his mini arc... Must I continue?

    3. Exalted

      Exalted

nah grey has a better story arc than gajeel in the anime natsu i have to say is intresting but the last i checked there not fully there yet

  4. Fairy Tail Episode 9 and 10: this is one of the very few series in which filler episodes don't feel like a complete waste of time.

yeah i get your point it has 4 cannon arcs and 4 filler arcs 9 if you count specials but atleast there good

    3. Felicity

      Felicity

I highly disagree. I skip whole arcs because they don't feel at all relevant.

That would be because Fairy Tail has a different structure compared to most anime. Since the "main plot" has ties in the lives of pretty muc everybody, the story takes its time to develop everyone as characters, and dig in their backstories. I personally love it, but to each his own.

  5. Fairy Tail Episode 8: Natsu and Happy beating Erigor with SCIENCE! Also, the funniest boss battle ever.

  6. TFW you quickly check if you have new notifications on Facebook... And your mom is on AND INSTANTLY STARTS MESSAGING YOU.

    1. Nova

      Nova

Thankfully, my parents don't have Facebook.

  7. Fairy Tail Episode 7: Erigor's magic was pretty cool. I wish they had expanded more on it, but alas, such is the destiny of the starter villain...

  8. Fairy Tail Episode 6: back when a dude with a sword-whip (and no magic) was actually a threat for Gray.

  9. Fairy Tail Episode 5: you know, the running gag of Erza hurting people by hugging them while wearing a steel breastplate was actually pretty funny. I wonder why they won't do it anymore these days.

  10. Fairy Tail Episode 4: the best way to get rid of a book is to completely destroy the house in which it is kept! Also, Erza debuts carrying the horn of a demon which is literally twice her size...

    1. Hexagoen

      Hexagoen

its anime logic. no use fighting it.

  11. Why would you? Cannot a house be there for the sake of being there?
  12. The connection you are talking about should be fixed, considering that, in his plauthrough, BIGJRA entered that building and nothing weird happened (I was watching his latest video right now). As for the "houses outside Albion", I don't even remember which ones you are talking about o.O
  13. Fairy Tail Episode 3: overpriced books, ninja Natsu, and Levi actually had boobs!

      Felicity

Men don't have to like boobs you know.

And if you like boobs, why have you not watched Orange is the new black?

They use it to entice the pervs for the first 3 minutes then get you interested in the characters

    3. Tomas Elliot

      Tomas Elliot

Orange is the new black is a tv series with actual actors right? I have no tv, so I can only watch stuff on the internet... And I only know anime webstites. But if you can recomment one for tv series, I will gladly check that out.

    4. Felicity

      Felicity

      it's on Netflix.

It's dead cheap and gives a lot of real high quality stuff, including a decent amount of anime and a hell of a lot more good american/british shows. If you can get it, do so

  14. Fairy Tail Episode 1: hilarious, action-packed, and with awesome music. This is how you keep people tuning in.

  15. Oh something I felt like asking (double post for not strictly important announcement, sorry ;-; ): has anyone caught any siny mons yet?
  16. The topic in Radio Tower made me feel like making another Fairy Tail marathon. In the upcoming weeks, I'll rewatch all the episodes I had downloaded and then, once I run out of those, I'll see if the anime has completed the Tartarus arc in the meantime, so that I can download that one too.

  17. Look, the whole "battles solved with nakama power" thing is the main issue of this series, we are all perfectly aware of it. I mean, take that one time when Natsu beat Sting and Rogue in a handicap match: had Hiro booked it correctly, it would have made A LOT of sense. Natsu had a knowledge of the abilities of Sting and Rogue based on observation and strategic thinking, while they had of him a knowledge based only on rumors and assumptions: it was a MASSIVE tactical advantage for Natsu, and who better than Mavis, the Fairy Tactician, to comment on this in order to put the events in the right perspective? She had been in the crowd providing exposition the whole arc, it was an angle that pretty much booked itself... ... And yet, Hiro managed to screw it up, by having Mavis ramble about how Natsu believed in the power of friendship, which made NO SENSE WHATSOEVER for the scene at hand, because Sting and Rogue were NOT your standard friendless villains, and in fact they knew more about the power of friendship than Natsu himself: so much so in fact that they pulled off an Unison Raid! So yeah, talking about nakama power in a scene like that made no sense at all, and ruined a perfectly valid angle. And yet, Hiro did it, he wasted time talking about nakama power: why? Because it is his fixation. Not just in Fairy Tail, but in other works of his as well, he rambles about nakama power at every turn. It's just the way he does things. Because of this, I believe this fact of having ALWAYS the same few people in the spotlight, and ALWAYS pulling off nakama power to solve any situation, is the fatal flaw of the series, something that will NOT improve or change as long as Hiro is the one writing the show. So yeah, no point in complaining about it, we gotta accept it or change the channel.
  18. A friend of mine insisted, so I now have a dropbox. We'll see if I can find some use for it.

I always have the latest Reborn save file on Dropbox! Just in case.

  19. Well if you remember the Tenrou Arc, she used the power of one of her spirits (I believe it was Scorpio) to perform an Unison Raid with Wendy. So yeah, I think now that she can essentially wield the powers of her spirits at will, nothing forbids that she combines them in even more creative ways, like I dunno, a Sand-Wind Unison Raid without actually needing to summon Scorpio, or summon a Spirit, Star Dress another, and combine the two powers in what is essentially a one-person Unison Raid... Or something else we cannot even imagine. Possibilities are endless. Basically, what Lucy's capstone does is to bring to the extreme consequences what has always been her main strength: versatility. With her, it's not about having the power, it's all about using it in creative an unexpected ways. So yeah, who knows what she can come up with! This is precisely the kind of reasoning that made me leave Fairy Tail Base (a massive FT fansite I was part of). In a story, specially one with a plot as deep and as far reaching as this one (when you keep in mind that all the ramifications of the plot begin and end with Zeref, you see that this plot literally stretches over many hundreds of years), fights are mere plot devices the writer uses to advance the story, and a character is only as strong as the writer needs him/her to be to deliver that particular point in that particular battle. Therefore, speculating on who is OP and who is not, and who is stronger/smarter/more useful than whom, is a waste of time IMO. As far as Gray is concerned, he made it very clear what his plans for the future are: he is not going to settle down and live happily ever after with Juvia (because I am not even considering the option that "the answer" he will give Juvia after completing his "mission" might be a negative one) untill E.N.D. is destroyed once and for all. Of course, now that he knows the supposedly dreadful demon is in fact his best friend, he is not so adamant anymore... But welp, that is his mission nonetheless. That is his goal in life. So yeah, I find a Natsu-Gray fight to end the show (with ultimate reconciliation and everybody's happy ever after) to actually be more likely than a Natsu-Zeref fight. Only time will tell I suppose.
  20. No, I am supposed to teach you to read. Which you are still very bad at. But since I have no time to waste with your arrogance, your "OMG look at me I made the history of this game!" (spoiler warning: you did nothing of the sort), and your complete and utter inability to understand other people's points (or to formulate any of your own that present any fact beyond "LOL DUDE I AM SO STRONK U NOOB I HAZ SKILLZ I SO BETTER THAN U" to support them), I must once again ask you to leave. The people who posted before you all pointed out the same problems. And with their constructive, polite and well-argumented help, I am trying to refine this project, coming up with alternative ideas and listening to their feedback on them. You will not find any praise to feed your fragile ego here, nor will you find anyone interested in the "accomplishments" you boast about. Which, even if they were true and not just the product of a fragile ego desperate for recognition, would still not be valid arguments in the debate at hand. Therefore, your presence here is not only useless, it is indeed damaging to what was a constructive topic, and is now a ridiculous flame war because you, hungry for recognition as you are, felt that the theory it presents might delegitimize the "accomplishments" your fragile ego so desperately needs to see acknowledged, and you felt the need to reassert your self-appointed role as alpha male (or female or whatever, you can never be sure in this forum) of the competitive scene. With every further post you make, you accomplish nothing but to waste everybody's time, turning yourself into a laughingstock in the process. But if you had any reading skills, or any respect for what other people think or say, you would understand by now that this topic was never meant to discredit a playstyle compared to another, but simply to propose a point of view and the reasoning behind it. If it turned into silly flame wars full of personal attacks, you have to blame nobody but yourself. So again, take what little dignity you have left and leave. Your next post will be reported on sight.
  21. Frankly, I don't like the chances of Lucy getting a new capstone. What she already has is pretty powerful and well, Don't forget Natsu is the one who is inevitably going to defeat the major villain(s) and wrap up the plot. Or at least, after the whole thing with Igneel it is more or less guaranteed that he will defeat Acnologia, while I still have some reserves concerning Zeref because honestly, dude isn't evil in the slightest, so maybe his side of the plot could be resolved without violence. Regardless, my point stands: I doubt Lucy will get a new capstone. Maybe some power up to what she already has, but I cannot see her going beyond that.
  22. Two girls were exchanging effusions at uni. Normally I'd have nothing against it... But this is ENGINEERIG, damnit. There are like, 5 girls in total in the entire building. Between the already committed and the lesbians, how is a guy supposed to find companionship?

oh, and uh... if you're gonna do the bridge idea, be sure no one falls off to their death, because that would be a tragedy.

And a tragedy is the last thing we need around here.

To add to what Stratos said, you could take said companions and take a stroll to other buildings in your spare time. I am certain you will find available females in other buildings that teach subjects more inclined towards literature, arts or law.
