  1. I wish I had someone that would make such fantastic artworks for my own fanfiction... Zim is too lazy busy with Se7en ;-;
  2. Fairy Tail Episode 210: Thing I dislike #3 Scorpio's reverse personality being, of all things, a Yugioh parody. FOR NO REASONS AT ALL. Admittedly the parody is funny, but still, it makes no friggin' sense, and they pushed to the background a rare instance of Mirajane fighting seriously to give screentime to this <.<

  3. Fairy Tail Episode 209: this one I am conflicted about. I mean, Aquarius' reverse personality makes a lot of sense but, again, her fighting Wendy and not Lucy is ridiculous. So yeah, I dunno if I should list this episode as one I like, or one I dislike...

  4. Fairy Tail Episode 208: Thing I dislike #2 Lucy going after Virgo. The whole point of this arc is building up her relationship with Aquarius, so what's the point in having Lucy vs Virgo and Wendy, of all people, vs Aquarius?

  5. Fairy Tail Episode 207: Thing I like #3 Hisui is stated to know the basics of Celestial Spirit Magic. Which fixes a case of "fridge logic" the manga had caused with a certain reveal concerning Eclipse.

  6. Fairy Tail Episode 206: Thing I like #2 Yukino gets more screentime. Compared to how the manga treats her, that's certainly an improvement. Also because I like her.

  7. Fairy Tail Episode 205: Thing I don't like #1 it is implied, but not outright stated, that this whole mess was caused by Lucy and Yukino being nice to their spirits. And HOW the two events are actually supposed to be connected is never explained. Makes it hard to buy into the whole arc.

As I have said many times: Fairy Tail is my fav anime bar none, and it actually gets better as it goes (the few canon arcs after this filler arc are universally considered the best FT has to offer overall. But where would the fun be in making 300 identical status along the lines of "OMG OMG GUYS DIS ANIME IS SO GUD"?

Fairy Tail is really enjoyable. Also its mangaka is pretty stupid at parts. Tough to just look over it, but, it doesn't mean that Tomas-sensei (an I, sometimes) don't enjoy the series. We just can't help ourselves xD

Besides, a fan can have a critical sense while remaining a fan. While I love this show, I am not blind: I see the negatives and I criticize them.

  8. Fairy Tail Episode 204: I still can't decide how I feel about the Eclipse Spirits filler arc, so I am going to count the things I like and those I don't like. Thing I like #1 they are building up the relationship between Lucy and Aquarius, in preparation for a certain event in Tartaros Arc. Clever thing to do.

  9. Fairy Tail Episode 203: Bisca of all people gets a backstory episode. Apparently, her becoming a member of Fairy Tail involved being punched through TWO load-bearing walls by Erza...

You should. I make fun of its shortcomings, incosistencies and silly plot points, but it is still a fantastic show. You know what really makes it stand out? The way it sounds: this show has great voice acting and a stellar OST, and those are aspects that help you a lot to get invested...

  10. Yeah, my bad. when I talk about "Zim's creations", I obviously talk about the artworks. The actual creators of each individual species may vary.
  11. GG is, for all intents and purposes, the precursor of BB. So yeah, it features slower animations and less convoluted combo mechanics, which... Has advantages and disadvantages really. On the plus side, it is not as combo-centric as BB (in GG, you can win matches even if you don't obsessively seek a combo out of each hitconfirm, while in BB... Well, at higher plays, every time you don't land a combo you are 100% guaranteed to eat one), and when you do go for combos, it is a bit easier to string them together, as most hitconfirms are more intuitive and untech times are slightly longer. On the other hand, between its signature Drive system, its multiple side mechanics geared towards squeezing even more hits into every combo, and the ridiculous amount of options that open with each hitconfirm, Blazblue is harder to master, but it truly helps you feel the uniqueness of each character. Hazama, Carl, Relius, Rachel, the Murakumos and, in more recent installments, Bullet and Amane, just to name a few from the top of my head, are characters the likes of which you have never seen in any other fighting game, and you probably will never see again. Add an overall better plot, often told with VN elements (there is even a prequel series of VNs called Xblaxe, if you are interested), and you see that characters are much more interesting, fascinating and unique (in one word: memorable) in BB, compared to GG... Although make no mistake about it, GG is no slouch either.
  12. As a long-time Blazblue fan (and a frustrated one, as Italy never got CP so I am stuck with the first two) I really cannot recommend it enough. It's spiritual predecessor Guilty Gear is also very good. If you don't mind the fanservice (ir if you actively seek it lol), the Arcana Hearts series is also an option.
  13. OH FOR THE LOVE OF - Here: Zim is going to be mad that I re-uploaded a work of his to Imgur, but I had no choice.
  14. Sometimes Deviantart does that. I included the image as a link instead of a picture now, so by clicking on the link you should be able to see it...
  15. So, for all the hasty people who thought this project was dead: think again. We are still going through a lot of crap, but we are slowly managing to get our act together. And now that Zim has finally gotten around to making a new vector, we can make a new announcement! So, remember a while back, when I announced Magpy by calling it the "Pidgey of this game"? Well, here is the Spearow of this game: ladies and gentlemen please give it up for Kookabully! http://orig07.deviantart.net/7aea/f/2016/067/e/b/kooka1_by_zimvader42-d9uddmb.png This nasty little Pokemon actually has a fierce rivalry with Magpy, and tries to use its superior power to push its counterpart around... But Magpy is smarter, so it always finds way to get back at it. Much like Magpy, Kookabully is Normal/Flying : either Magpy or Kookabully (yes, this means ONLY ONE OF THEM) will change type upon evolving for the last time, but which one will it be? And what will the new type be? Also, can you guess this guy's abilities, most notably its (very important) HA? Let the speculation begin! The Se7en hype train has slowed down considerably: isn't it about time we revitalized it a bit?
  16. Fairy Tail Episode 202: FRO IS SO CUTE OMG

    1. Swampellow

      Swampellow

And that is how they get you.

  17. Fairy Tail Episode 201: and then, in the middle of a rather silly filler episode, you find a plot-defining scene between Mavis and Zeref...

  18. Fairy Tail Episode 200: milestone episode is dedicated to the memory of Ultear. That was the perfect farewell for her, emotional but without needless angst. I really appreciated it.

  19. Fairy Tail Episode 199: GAJEEL WEARING A SUIT

  20. Fairy Tail Episode 198: the plot is resolved via time paradox (which is inaccurate, time paradoxes don't work that way), and Natsu misses what is probably the biggest occasion to kiss Lucy in the entire serier. Geez, get a clue man...

  21. Fairy Tail Episode 197: it kinda pisses me off that the peak of Ultear's character development coincided with her being permanently removed from the series. I liked her, I wanted her to get more screentime. We didn't even get one last shot of her ass!

  22. Fairy Tail Episode 196: Here is a quick list of people who die in this episode. Romeo, Macao, Wakaba, Elfman, Gajeel, Gray and Lucy. Yeah right, as if.

Lol, spoilers from almost 2 years ago :P

  23. For Rejuv, I think the ideal set is: - Fire STAB of choice for damage - Dark Pulse for secondary reliable STAB - Sludge Bumb for coverage, OR Nasty Plot for setting up (but my issue with setting up is, you don't need it against non-bosses, and bosses won't give you the time to use it) - Destiny Bond because Destiny Bond can be decisive against bosses. With a Focus Sash or Choice Scarf (dunno if either is available tho), Destiny Bond can give you a way of winning otherwise unwinnable boss battles.
  24. Houndoom... Meh, I guess it's nice to be a dog. A dog capable of unleashing the flames of hell on people, no less. I get to be pet, fed, and taken out for walks at my leisure, and to burn to a crisp those who don't take good care of me. Not bad...
