Well, it's not really a hack per se, it's just a helpful thing for grinding or moving the game faster so you don't lag as hard.

Is that no longer the case? I thought you had to trigger the event by speaking to her then she teleports away.

I think it's F8, not sure. You could always download something like gyazo or prntscr to take screenshots, that's what I do.

Make sure you bring a ghost type so its Take Down's don't make contact.

Yeah, I was aware of that because I used to do some hardcore competitive in D/P and HG/SS, but I stopped after the first Black & White so I didn't know about the new tutors.

+1 to you, I never had to breed that much, usually got what I wanted around 14 eggs per Pokemon, or I just said screw it and kept something a bit worse.

Yeah, it happens. Took me at least 30 minutes to grab a Moon Stone in Rejuvenation.

He said besides that one. I don't think so, most of them appear once then you can mine them. It shouldn't take that long, though. Just save in front of one, mine it, and if you don't get what you want; just soft reset (F12)

I've used both in the game and I'd go with Belossom if you want something with better moves, it gets Leaf Blade and Leaf storm later on. But Vileplume gets poison so it really depends on your opinion.

I'd be happy with whatever I got in the egg to be honest, maybe besides Vulpix or Azurill because I've used those countless times; everything in the egg is pretty useful.

You can breed them, yeah? Takes some effort though. Shadow Ball is already a given TM, it gets Blizzard by level up I think. Breed for HP.

Moon Stones sadly cannot be obtained until you get the Mining Kit, which you get around the fourth gym. For a Water type, this is a pretty generic answer; but why not Greninja? You get it as a Shadow Pokemon, and it's pretty good throughout the game. Not sure about dig, however.
