  1. {Conclave} "I don't care who carries her, just do it! We don't have all day!" Jon snapped at the guys. He really didn't mean to sound that rude but, in his mind, saving their own lives is much more important matter than discussing who gets to carry the damsel in distress. This isn't a tea party, after all. As soon as Jon finished his sentence, a stream of fire could be seen as it burnt a nearby Tropius that was aiming for Kyte. Jon sighed in relief; he will make sure to properly thank Lupus and Lobo later.
  2. {Important Action - Reaching the Beach ) The gas attendant soon snapped Arial back into reality; it seems that her motor scooter was filled up and ready to go once again. 'Already? I guess time does really fly when you're having fun, if reminiscing could even be called that...' Arial smiled politely and handed over the required cash amount before she switched on the engine once more. With one last look at the beautiful sky, Arial sped off in the direction of the beach. Perhaps something there could take her mind off of her nostalgic memories...
  3. {Danielle and Jacob} Danielle giggled at the sight as Arete floated gracefully around her. She watched as Corona flew out of her arms to follow the said Togetic, resulting in her head being surrounded by the flying duo. Zared growled in agreement with the fire type. The Mawile will even settle for watching a battle at this rate this is going; that could at least give them a chance to steal some good combinations to deal with future opponents, which is always something worth learning. Walking around is just boring. Avis hovered near Danielle, wondering why she was surrounded by the two Pokemon. Well, so much for landing on her perch. Since that is the case, Avis addressed Jacob's question immediately by shaking her head. The thought of alerting Sawsbuck to the whole situation did not cross her mind; she would prefer alerting her own species over a deer. Murkrows could fly, after all. But, if they insist, she guessed she could go and find the said Pokemon. With a few flaps of her wings, the omen of death headed back into the forest once more, cawing for Sawsbuck to appear. All Danielle could see was a mass of white and red as Arete and Corona danced around her, so she settled for listening in on Jacob and Avis. She could hear that her Murkrow was going off again, evidenced by the disappearing voice, and Jacob asking for them to continue their way in. "Sure thing, I'll follow your lead... Once I get my vision back." Danielle quickly snatched her Larvesta as soon as she hovered in front of her face, which made Corona to squeak loudly in surprise. The coordinator chuckled at her bug's response before she glanced at the happy Togetic.
  4. 113 It's been so long since we are in the 100s.
  5. Is pleasantly surprised that people like starter bird breedjects. :D

  6. {Inside the Conclave} Jon's eyes widened at the news, but then turned into a glare at the thought. So the Church is still out for blood after all of this time. "Tch, should have known the Church won't let us through without a parting gift... Look, if I recall, Heal Pulse doesn't cure status ailments. The best thing we could do is to get her back to headquarters so she could get proper treatment. The effects of Heal Pulse won't last forever."
  7. {Inside the Conclave} If Jory and his fellow teammates listened closely, they would be able to hear a low rumbling in front of them. Shortly afterwards, a command was heard followed by a surge of water that shot through the crowd of acolytes, creating a narrow path for them to run through! A low, friendly growl of a Swampert then greeted the group. Jon quickly dashed through the path and rejoined his Swampert. "Great job, Kyte." He complimented his partner before turning to Jory and his Zangoose. "Hey, glad to see that the Church didn't get you." He then punched a light-robed Church follower down the stairs before continuing. "Candice told us to meet up back in the gym and type in a code or something. Go meet Miki and Lupus downstairs. I'll handle the rest up here." Kyte roared in agreement before the Swampert turned to fired off another Hydro Pump to push the acolytes back down. Several loose sparks of electricity then snaked up the wet stairs before they paralyzed several Church members into place, leaving the path open.
  8. {Danielle and Jacob} "Just as quick as the first battle you had this morning! Great job you two!" Danielle complimented the duo as the happy Togetic recovered. The coordinator then waved the little Buneary goodbye as the Pokemon hopped back the way she came, clearly at ease that she doesn't have a venomous snake behind her tail. Once the Buneary was out of sight, Danielle gave a sigh of relief herself. If it wasn't for the bunny cowering behind her, she would have bolted when that Seviper decided to jump in front her face. With a shake of her head to clear her thoughts, Danielle nodded at Jacob's suggestion. "Yes, let's get going. Although, like you said, I'm not sure if Seviper would be willing to help us out now, especially since you two just beaten the crap out of it." She gave a nervous chuckle as she glanced at the Great Ball. Corona had gotten out of her tree and proceeded to sit on top of Danielle's head, chirping softly in an attempt to calm her master down. The little bug was then greeted with a light weight on her head before she was taken into Danielle's arms. Zared was about to smack the crap out of that vampire-ish viper as it made a beeline for Danielle but, alas, he was cheated out of the battle when Arete stepped in. Then again, Jacob was the one looking for it, not Danielle, so maybe he wasn't "cheated" out of fighting after all. Ugh, how he wished he was on the battlefield again... Perhaps this Sawsbuck they are looking for could give him a decent brawl... -------------------- Avis nodded as a native, male Murkrow reiterated what she had just told him. The small flock that now surrounded her began cawing to one another in hushed voices, discussing the relevancy of this warning to their survival. After several minutes, the murder suddenly went quiet and flew off without a word of warning. Avis cawed once more to show her respect to the murder before she began making her way back to Danielle. This was a typical response from the birds; the murder is heading back to consult with their head Honchkrow. He, or she, always makes the final decisions; there are no ifs, ands, or buts. Avis could only hope that this Honchkrow has enough brains to take this incoming danger seriously.
  9. 37 Almost as bad as 70 I battled Noel when half of his team was birds so I just used a Jolteon xD @Turbo: No problem! I'll be around this whole week!
  10. {Important Action - Going to the Beach} Shortly after Arial obtained her classmates' contact information, she had sped off in the direction of Heart Beach. Unfortunately, she also didn't realize just how low her motor scooter was on gas until that small red light began to blink on the dashboard. With a sigh (at her own thoughtlessness), the Cyber Dragon fanatic rode into the first gas station that crossed her path. After a brief exchange of words with an attendant, Arial turned off the engine and got up to observe her surroundings. Ever since Anna Reinier spoke about Tenjo's death, Arial realized that she had not have the time to pause and observe such a beautiful view until now. Perhaps this was a way of her bike telling her to take everything step by step. The tomboy gave a slight chuckle at the thought; talking to her cards is crazy enough, she is not going to add her bike onto the list. Arial took a few steps over to lean against her scooter, which remained on its upright position by its small kickstand, and allowed her thoughts to wander as her green eyes looked at the sunset. It reminded her of a time when she and her family used to always be together, laughing at nonsensical thoughts just to entertain one another, before Aros' business boomed. Sunsets, in particular, were always their favorite time to congregate. Alas, as time flowed, these family gatherings became a thing of the past, leaving Arial alone with her cards to watch the sunset to this very day. She sighed as she reminisced on her childhood days, giving a quick glance at her D-Pad before staring off into the sunset once more.
  11. If the Central Square people want, you can bump into Arial. I am going to have her stop at a gas station on the way to avoid the ongoing events.

  13. 4? Agree with Jeri on the 70; it makes sense for the old inside joke we have. For Turbo, Azery and ExLink: You guys still have Pokes waiting for you to claim them. xD
  14. {Jacob and Danielle} The coordinator couldn't help but grin at Jacob's fiery spirit. It sure feels nice to see him this way again, just like they used to be. Since the fairy type has a move to counter its biggest enemy, there is no reason for her to feel worried for the friendly Togetic. "Alright then! Wait for me!" Danielle raced to catch with Jacob and his team, falling into their stride as soon as she caught up. She could see Corona swinging from tree to tree with her trusty silk threads out the corner of her eye. Perhaps she should take them to the forest more often after this tournament is over. Zared could use the exposure just in case she has to use him in such a battlefield and she does need to find herself a grass type... But, that will be a consideration for another time. There are more important matters to take care of, like Jacob's new teammate and the Sawsbuck. Danielle blushed a little, realizing that she let that little tidbit slip. "To be honest, I don't even know if and where we can find him. I only heard about Sawsbuck from the seniors while I was at the festival. Apparently, he guards the forest during the day and drives away those that disrespect the Pokemon in here..." She then grabbed another lunch package from her bag and handed it over to Jacob. "I definitely wouldn't mind trying to find him, but I think we would need some guide. So, maybe, since Seviper is a native here, we can kill two birds with one stone by first luring out the snake and having him, or her, lead us to Sawbuck?"
  15. "Aww, I thought you were going to find Sawsbuck to warn him about the incoming danger or something. But finding a new teammate works too!" Danielle grinned, giving her best friend a thumbs up to show her support. "And of course I'm ready! With these three Pokemon and the strongest trainer around, why wouldn't I be?" She paused for a moment as her outstretched suddenly felt lighter; Avis had apparently finished her lunch and had flown deeper into the forest. Danielle shook her head at her bird before turning back to Jacob. "I also promise to keep my mouth shut about this until you want to reveal your Seviper." Danielle gave a glance at the cheerful Togetic, watching her flying in front of them with her tiny wings. "Are you sure Arete could handle it? I would hate to see her going down to a Poison move, especially since Sevipers aren't known for being gentle..." Corona had crawled her way up on the nearest tree chirped gleefully to the party below her. She will keep a lookout for them just in case! Zared only looked around him in silence, still following Spitfyre and his master since he can't do anything. The forest is not one of those terrains he is familiar with so it's better for him to just stay back and the experts to the talking. -------------- Avis had landed back on a branch of a tree where she had once marked on their first day of school. She gave a good look around her before she began to crow, hoping to gain the attention of the native Murkrow in the woods...
  16. Danielle's eyes widened. Jacob disobeying a professor? Well then, she would definitely want to be in on this! "Good thing I bought more of these then!" Danielle replied happily, tossing one of the random food packages that she had bought earlier over to Jacob. "I was going to hand these out to everyone after we told Professor Cadmus about Evan but that's out the equation now. Let's head over to the forest now and eat while we walk. We can't afford to waste any time if I you want to do what I think you are doing~" The coordinator then opened Avis' small lunch container and held it out for Avis to dip her head in, allowing Avis to eat her lunch while she followed Jacob into the forest. Like an ever-hungry pigeon, Avis quickly perched onto Danielle's arm and began pecking at the container's contents. Thank goodness Danielle remembered that the bird hasn't eaten yet. Otherwise, Avis couldn't promise that she will keep her Dark Pulse under control by the time they reached outside. Zared, however, looked disappointed that they are heading over to the forest instead of the lunch counter. He turned to Spitfyre and Corona and growled quietly. What are the humans planning? Shouldn't they be worried about their matches instead of this? The firebug shrugged, oblivious to the gravity of the situation at hand. All she knew was that Evan is a bad boy and they needed to tell the Professor to stop him. Personally, she doesn't mind going back for a visit in the forest. It is her natural habitat, after all.
  17. 163 @Cyaloom: You're welcome on the English lesson. @Ashes: Hey there! Long time no see!
  18. I hope your grandpa gets better soon, Tomas! Take all the time you need to make the update, I can wait ^^ I don't celebrate Easter myself (my family is agnostic/Buddhist); the only thing I look for during this time are the Peeps candy.
  19. 124 Actually, Azery is right. "ExLink, Turbo, DarkLight and I" is used when we are about to do something. "ExLink, Turbo, DarkLight and me" is when we are the object of an action. Ex: ...There was only just (Turbo, ExLink, Darklight and) me vs. There was only just (Turbo, ExLink, DarkLight, and) I --> The first one is grammatically correct. Second Ex: ... (ExLink, Turbo, Dark and) I were the only ones doing this vs. (ExLink, Turbo, Dark and) Me were the only ones doing this. --> First one is correct.
  20. Danielle chuckled at Jacob's enthusiasm at lunch. Like Spitfyre, she was also wondering how Jacob was still hungry after he just ate. "Let's head back to that place earlier. Not only does it have food, there is also that huge TV screen for us to watch the remaining matches!" She then began skipping her way over to the door, letting her company trail behind her just slightly. "So, are you just going to let this go?" she asked as soon as Jacob caught up with her.
