  1. You're a monster.....anybody without a Dark/Bug/Ghost will suffer dearly.... 1-2 casualties at the very least though Also, Calm Mind + Leftovers Reuniclus that's been EV Trained in Def and HP
  2. A lot of hours invested, a lot of rare candies used, a lot of hours of torture saved by Exp.Share. Waifu is EV trained for 252 Sp. Atk and spreaded out EVs in Def,Sp.Def, and Speed. She holds a Brightpowder until I can find a Life Orb High Five is EV trained for full 252 Atk 252 Spd and 4 HP He holds a Silk Scarf until I can find a Life Orb (I hope you can get more than one). Salty is EV trained for 252 Sp.Atk 252 HP and 4 Def He holds a Leftovers CorvidPimp is EV trained for 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 HP She holds a Brightpowder until I can find a Life Orb (yeah...I like that item a lot) NotZoroark is EV trained for 252. Sp.Atk 252 HP 4 Def It holds a Zap Plate until I get find a Choice Scarf (to override its slow Speed) Soonhi is EV trained for 252 Atk 252 Speed 4 HP She holds a Brightpowder until I can...you already know the deal by now. Strategies : Free Damage - This strategy alone got me a very high rating on Pokemon Showdown; Starting/switching into High Five, I can use Technician + Fake Out to dish out free and decent damage. Water/Ground coverage - If NotZoroark comes across any Water/Ground pokemon, I switch into Waifu, where I had her learn Magical Leaf, it's VERY good coverage. Poison/Dark coverage - Salty's my man and 1 Mud Bomb can 2HKO an evenly matched Drapion. All-In 100-0 Sweeps - CorvidPimp and Soonhi will absolutely demolish an evenly matched team with Brave Bird and Flare Blitz, it can easily 6-0 with just those 2 alone. Possible Future Improvements : If an Earth Power move tutor ever releases, and HM Surf comes out, Salty's power would drastically improve in terms of damage AND accuracy. Thunderbolt and Volt Switch TMs would seriously make NotZoroark a serious threat. Life Orbs would 100% make this game easy mode for me, the only way it could stop me would be to go against Lin in a scripted loss vs a team of Level 100's. U-turn TM will 100% make High Five a game breaking fighter, the cycle of Fake Out > U-turn into and of my pokemon with type advantage will absolutely destroy the game considering it's not competitive with Set battle mode.
  3. Since I idiotically chose Piplup as my starter, I treated the entire fight like a 1v2 Gym battle, where I would have Empoleon tank every Icy Wind and Blizzard known to mankind (they literally do no damage to him) and have my other pokemon OHKO anything that's not Mamoswine or Walrein. And by tank, I mean if they use Blizzard, I can just potion up my actual attacker using Empoleon's turn
  4. No Move Tutors besides the Move Relearner, therefore, shards are useless until then.
  5. Well the closest thing to that would be Definitely Not The Daycare Couple
  6. I'll volunteer to do this after I finish EV. Training.
  7. The irony is that once you've unlocked Tanzan depths, you'll be happy to find a Durant even AFTER owning one, because they have one of the highest Base EXP gains you can find, combo that with Tanzan Depths being one of the most late-game areas you can train at AT THE MOMENT, Durants will provide a nice sum of Exp, better than Unowns. For reference, Unowns have base 61 exp while Durant have 169 Base Exp, so they'll effectively yield 1.77x more exp than Unowns at equal levels
  8. There is a full screen mode, press Alt + Enter, but if your computer has higher resolutions (like my 1920x1080) it won't expand the whole screen.
  9. Perhaps it was just my experience. At the time I had a Vibrava with Dig and Crunch, a Scrafty with Crunch, and Gardevoir with Psychic and Calm Mind
  10. Team Aqua's Hideout on a Windy Night. If you have any questions looking for more pokemon, just consult this guide http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4737
  11. I find it highly unlikely your Dugtrio would be slower than a Chandelure considering they have 40 extra base speed than Chandelure, unless Ame was indeed an evil genius and gave Chandelure 252 EVs in Speed to have effectively 23 more speed than a neutral Dugtrio.... Gengar too because Dugtrio has 10 more base speed..... All of your pokemon have relatively low Sp.Def as well, I would seriously consider investing in Scraggy JUST for that gym battle, if you don't have the time for that....X. Sp. Def would be a good alternative, I had a similar roadblock with Kiki, and I brute forced my way through that gym fight with +6 X Defense stacks xD EDIT: I punched in the numbers, if you want to consider a Sharpedo through Team Aqua's sidequest, a Level 40 Sharpedo with no Beneficial nature or EV training can OHKO Shade's Chandelure with 1 Crunch and 2HKO with Aqua Jet. Gengar also falls to Sharpedo's Crunch in 1 shot.
  12. I would prefer Magnet Pull on Magnezone rather than Sturdy. It's basically a "You're stuck with me bitch" Sweeper. Speed EV's with Sturdy is a bit redundant, if you truly want to keep sturdy, I would suggest HP EV's instead, because most super effective moves vs Magnezone will require 1 more hit to kill with that extra HP (caution for Sp.Atk fire types though) Stack the extra HP from EVs with sturdy and you've effectively tanked 2 extra shots compared to a Speed EV + Magnet Pull Magnezone whose job is to basically sweep, which is definitely a lot more reliable damage, not to mention a guaranteed extra 1-2 attacks

Party Vanned for using a Spinda.
  14. Oh, yes you reminded me, siding with Aqua and getting that Carvahna would absolutely DESTROY most of Shade's team, I used a Carvahna for that specific gym and it was no contest between it and a Scraggy.
  15. I just imagined an insanely evil thing Ame could do, she could kill off Amalia and her Lapras would be an optional event boss, when you encounter it, your familiar looks make Deliverance remember the event of her master's death and becomes enraged to fight you, the Lapras you fight would be level 100 with full defensive EVs and IVs and opens with Perish Song. If you defeat it in the 3 turns, it'll calm down and join you at a lower level (it was boosted to level 100 because of it being enraged). If you fail to beat it though, it'll just have an event where Lapras literally suffers from the Perish Song and you lose your chance at the only Lapras in the game.
  16. I have no idea how you're losing to Shade with your team nearing 41...... Chandelure is one of the most fragile Glass Cannons in the game, if you can survive a shot and land a super effective move (Rock/Water/Ghost/Dark), there is absolutely no way you have a team full of pokemon that get OHKO'd by Chandelure. Also, the level cap is limited in this game for the purpose of actually making this game a challenge, and even then, the game is relatively breakable with a simple Pick-up party. EDIT: Understandably at this point of the game, you really wanna experiment on what works well with your upcoming battles, even before I beat episode 9, I've had reserve pokemon in the PC for difficult battles (Kiki comes to mind). Finding the right combination of pokemon will lead you to enjoy the story over pulling your hair out because of a single Gym Leader/
  17. I would enjoy a more visible night time, especially in thunderstorms
  18. And....as I type that, this f*cking happens. Real talk?
  19. Welcome to the club! Refreshments are in the lounge and refills are free
  20. If Anna were the Champion, wouldn't Saphira know? Considering she's basically E4, Laura too I suppose
  21. Speaking of luck...this just happened....thanks to Khayoz's method VICTORY
  22. Dazz may be onto something for Anna's team My first post was about the actual current psychic gym leader's pokemon. For Anna, I would see Sigilyph and Xatu to be thematically appropriate for Anna. Reusing Gallade and Medicham on Anna wouldn't be much different than fighting Kiki again.
  23. The possibility of Anna being a Gym leader is slim for many reasons 1. Knowing the type of person Anna is, her powers too symbolically see people would have a much larger purpose than being a Gym Leader later ion. 2. She was eager to give you an opportunity to get another Gym Badge, if it were the case of her being Gym Leader, she'd not only force Noel to vs you, but she'd offer a Gym battle herself. 3. If you watched ANY television in the game, at one point you'll come across a show with Gossip Gardevoir interviewing the current Psychic Gym Leader (whom she seems to have a tsundere crush with), so even IF Anna was eligible to be the Psychic Gym Leader, she'd be currently a reserve Gym Leader (so if you want to battle her, Ep 10 is gonna have to kill off the current Gym Leader, which IS a possibility). Besides that, I may pitch in on potential pokemon the Psychic Gym Leader will use. I would actually expect Mienshao over Medicham Gardevoir is unlikely (unless I've misread something somewhere and Gossip Gardevoir is in fact owned by said Gym Leader) Alakazam is 80% certain to be on the team. Slowking and Bronzong are quite possible for the "annoying wall" role of the team. I'm gonna be honest though, with our encounters of Kingdra, Dragonite, Hydreigon, and Garchomp, I'm prone to suspect the ownership of Latios/Latias for the Psychic Gym Leader (which will definitely make it a tough Gym Battle)
  24. I know it's asking too much, but I would appreciate a move tutor (like the Earth Power move tutor) Clearly the ones that teach stuff like Frenzy Plant should be reserved for late-game, but it'd be a fresh breathe of air to see something that tutors Icy Wind at the very least.
  25. So this introduction is about 5 days late Hi I tryhard in Pokemon like a madman My favorite type is Steel (Even though it doesn't quite have the best coverage) Oh...and I'm 18 and single~ :3
