(More crits for the crit lord...) Seeing an opportunity, Clarisse tries to strike down one of the last remaining horsemen. However, this last one proves to be quite capable, dodging Clarisse's blow and striking her in return. Cheat Sheet: -

Supported by her allies, Clarisse successfully shows the mage his proper place at the bottom of the lake. [Enemy Phase] Archer 2 Moves to J4 and attacks Myrdwyn Surprised by the turn of events, the archer tries to shoot at Myrdwyn to keep her from reaching the others. Unfortunately, his aim failed him on his first shot, and the second only did minor damage. Cavalier 8 Moves to M13 and attacks Rayne The horseman tries to strike the pegasus knight, but they fly out of the reach of the poor man. For his troubles, he got a javelin to the face, wounding him greatly. Troubadour 4 casts Slow on Darius The troubadour tries to use her staff to slow Darius down, but as the magical aura went towards Darius, it faded away before it could even reach him. Bandit 1 Moves to E13 and attacks Darius Frustrated with his ally's miss, the bandit tries to charge at the defenseless dark mage. In his haste however, he slips on the rocks and falls, missing his strike completely. The sudden slip did catch Darius off guard however, causing his counterattack to also miss. Cavalier 6 Moves to F12 and attacks Idei Tired of having to watch the sorry display of his allies, the horseman shows the others how it's done by actually hitting his enemy. Cavalier 9 Moves to L2 and attacks Cremia Hoping to take down the heiress while the wyvern was heading back, the horseman tries to strike at Cremia. Unfortunately, the terrain prevents his attack from connecting, and Cremia manages to get a strike in of her own. Pirate 1 Moves to K3 and attacks Cremia Hoping to do something useful, the pirate tries to strike down Cremia. Once again however, the terrain proves to be too difficult for him to navigate, and Cremia responds by seriously wounding the pirate. Troub 2 Moves to E9 and attacks Helena Not wanting to make the same mistakes as those on the other side of the river, the troubadour tosses a javelin as Helena fires off her magic. The two collide, nullifying the attacks, but since the troubadour was too shocked by the occurrence, she became literally shocked when Helena fired a second bolt of static at her. Mage 4 Moves to Q11 and attacks Clarisse Hoping to avenge his fallen brother, the mage steps forward and casts a fire spell onto Clarisse. Unable to dodge, Clarisse takes some moderate injuries. Archer 2 Moves to I14 Bandit 2 Moves to K13 Troubadour 3 Moves to L17 Cavalier 1 Holds [Ally Phase] Cremia Attacks Pirate 1 Finishing what she started, Cremia takes down the pirate with one last stroke. "Hello you two, I see you're having some issues with things, so I figured I would come and help." Helena Moves to G11 and attacks Cavalier 6 with Elfire Switching to her fire magic, Helena finishes off the horseman with a single charge of magic. Madante Moves to P11 and attacks Mage 4 with Allegretto Getting in front of Clarisse, Madante switches swords once again. As he approaches the mage, he drives his blade through the mage in one stroke, retrieves his blade, then jumps in the air. Wounded as he was, the mage could not avoid Madante's empowered strike, and is crushed by the impact of the blade. "Another one down. I wonder where this group's boss is? Everyone, be on alert," Madante warns. Turn 4 Karik heals for 2 HP Rayne's Barrier fades Cheat Sheet: -

Making up for her earlier blunder, Clarisse manages to strike down the remaining horseman in a single blow. Cheat Sheet: -
Ritsu examines some of the wax that had ended up on the platform and decides to hold onto it for later. Perhaps it could prove useful. Looking up to see the acid waterfalls, she frowns a bit and tries to figure out a way to avoid the acid's effects. Glancing under the platform that she is on, she notices an empty area between the platform and the legs attached to the rails, held up by an extended arm. "This should work," Ritsu mutters as she goes down to the arm, wrapping her tail around it so she won't fall off.

Idei fires off two shots to weaken the opposing cavalier. The first one hits its mark, but the panic it causes in the horse and rider causes the second shot to fly by the rider. Hidden away in the forest now, Cadence continues her pelting of the horseman with knives. Cheat Sheet: -

[Enemy Phase] Archer 2 Moves to I4 and attacks Belros The archer moves back a bit to take aim. Unfortunately, the terrain caused him to miss his shot and take two shots in return from the spy. Cavalier 2 Moves to O11 and attacks Madante The cavalier rides in for two strikes at Madante, but he manages to avoid one of the blows and strike him back in retaliation. Mage 3 Attacks Clarisse The mage blasts Clarisse with wind magic, doing a noticeable amount of damage. Cavalier 4 Moves to P12 and attacks Clarisse In a daring move considering previous events, the cavalier rode up to strike Clarisse, wounding her greatly. Her injuries proved to affect her combat ability, causing her to just barely miss her counterattack. Cavalier 5 Moves to O10 and attacks Cadence Another horseman rides in to try and fight, but he proves to be inexperienced, missing his strike entirely. Cadence sends a knife his way for his troubles. Pirate 2 Moves to K5 and attacks Myrdwyn Seeing an opening through a water route, the pirate makes his way through the water and strikes at Myrdwyn. Surprised and caught off guard, her counterattack failed to hit its mark. Mercenary 2 Moves to F9 and attacks Helena The mercenary edges closer to the estate and swings his blade, wounding Helena a fair bit. In response, Helena burns the man to a crisp, defeating him. Pirate 1 Moves to K2 and attacks Kaito Moving into the forest, the pirate strikes Kaito, wounding him a bit. Kaito responds in kind with a strike of his own, leaving the two wounded. Mage 4 Moves to M3 and attacks Kaito Capitalizing on the soldier being distracted, the mage strikes him down with thunder, incapacitating him. "You can't be serious...Cremia, make sure you escape," he pants before collapsing Bandit 1 Moves to D13 Cavalier 7 Moves to E9 Cavalier 6 Moves to E12 Troubadour 2 Moves to D8 Troubadour 3 Moves to N18 and heals Cavalier 8 Cavalier 8 Moves to L17 Troubadour 4 Moves to D14 Bandit 2 Moves to K17 Archer 1 Moves to J17 "Dang it, our men are being walled off. Where are our reinforcements? And for that matter where even is the Baron? He is coming right," the horseman mutters to himself, worried at the current state of his men slightly. Cavalier 1 Holds [Ally Phase] Helena Attacks Cavalier 7 with Static Irritated by the earlier attack, Helena decides to use her Static tome to eliminate the nearby cavalier. Empowered by her frustation, the anima builds up in a ball of electrical energy before engulfing the cavalier entirely. When the magic subsides, the horse and the rider collapse into the river. Helena raises an eye before looking at her tome. "Huh, so this is why people use thunder magic. Hmm...maybe I'll mess around with it a bit more. Could be fun," Helena smirks, amused with the outcome of her strike. "If you think I'm going to drop dead again, you're wrong. Let me show you what happens when I'm serious shall we," Madante announces. Madante Gets his Weight on and attacks Cavalier 2 with Lancereaver Madante holds his sword for a moment before leaping up at the horseman. The rider tries to move out of the way, but he could not avoid Madante's strike. In one crushing blow, Madante takes down the horserider. "Kaito!" She yells, seeing her lover fall. She then takes a glance towards the wyvern rider nearby. "Listen, if you're all here to help, please get Kaito to my grandfather. I'll deal with these scum for the moment. Just make sure he's safe," she pleads before heading towards the mage. Cremia Moves to L3 and attacks Mage 4 In a quick strike, Cremia strikes the mage with her blade. The mage tries to cast his magic, but he fumbles the spell and misses, leading to his demise at Cremia's second strike. Turn 3 Shield of Agony fades Karik heals for 2 HP Cadence heals for 8 HP Emilee's self healing kicks in for 4 HP Rayne's barrier fades Cheat Sheet: -

Rayne flies back around and strikes the mage with the first javelin. The mage was caught off guard, causing him to slip on the crossing. This not only caused his magic to completely miss the mark, but also left him open for another javelin to finish him off. Cheat Sheet: -

[Enemy Phase] Archer 2 Moves to J4 and attacks Myrdwyn The archer tries to line up a few shots on the incoming wyvern. Surprisingly for him, the wyvern knight showed no signs of being fazed by the first shot. Concerned, he fumbled his next shot, missing entirely. Cavalier 2 Moves to O10 and attacks Karik Riding up, the cavalier strikes Karik with his sword. Karik responds with a blow of his own, wounding the cavalier and poisoning him as well. Cavalier 3 Moves to O11 and attacks Madante Another cavalier rides up, his sights set on Madante. His first strike takes Madante off guard, causing him to miss his counterattack. Left off guard, the cavalier strikes Madante down with another strike of his halberd. "Not...like this," Madante groans as he falls to the ground, incapacitated. Cavalier 8 Moves to O17 and attacks Rayne Another cavalier rides up, striking Rayne with his blade. Rayne retaliates with a well aimed javelin, leaving both slightly injured. Cavalier 9 Moves to L1 and attacks Kaito The cavalier tries to take on the soldier, but finds himself dealing very little in the way of damage. Kaito responds with a devastating hit, severely wounding the rider. Troubadour 1 Moves to P10 and heals Cavalier 2 Troubadour 3 Moves to M20 and heals Mage 1 Mage 1 Moves to L17 Mage 4 Moves to P2 Archer 1 Moves to H18 Cavalier 4 Moves to R9 Cavalier 5 Moves to R13 Mercenary 2 Moves to E9 Mercenary 3 Moves to E13 [Ally Phase] "Looks like we have some help coming our way.
