In order to survive they are willing to take us to wherever we want if we can protect them from harm.” He looked at the fake Aaron before turning his attention back to the group. “That’s the proposal. I was about to accept it and get to know them when all of this happened.”

    Wrong choice of words I guess... Now this is where we have a problem. I’ll try my very best right now to stay polite and friendly. I think I told you yesterday or the day before something like this: There are 14 students (15 now Tses posted) and that’s a lot. Now there exists a little something that’s called time zones. A lot of us live in different ones and have things to do in real life (School, homework, sports, whatever), which can slow an RP down. If you don’t believe me check the RoG thread. It took them a week to get over a fence. Other RPs have similar problems and in some cases it takes three days before someone makes a post. This RP has never had that problem which is kinda surprising seeing all the people involved in this. Got it? Because this is where I stop being a nice host. Now different people posted they don’t like waiting. Others replied they have a life and can’t always post. The last time was a few hours ago and then another post like that happens and you’re laughing it off for the second time in 2-3 days. This isn’t personal, but the best example currently available to me. This counts for everyone: it’s fucking disrespectful if you keep complaining about how slow things go after others already spoke up. In this case it’s a battle between Jory and EXLink with Jory to make a move. Considering people used to cut him off in his own battle, makes me extra on the edge about this. If I was in his shoes and I would read all that complaining, I would feel forced to post. And if I feel like I’m forced to do something; it usually lacks quality and I postpone it. If things keep up I just quit because it’s not fun anymore. By complaining over and over again you are taking away someone else’s fun. And considering we’re on the internet to have a fun time, I won’t stand for bullshit like this. Every time you keep complaining you’re showing no respect towards the other players and their personal life. I will say this one last time: STOP COMPLAINING. If I see one more post like that or someone pointing fingers at whoever is slowing things down, there will be consequences. (I actually typed this 5 times because I tried my very best to say it in a nice way. Believe me when I said my first attempt was 3 times longer and really, really harsh.)

    I'm going to use what Stratos said above because I'm losing my patience with remarks like this one. Don't blame it all on Jory. That Magnemite has stalled every battle it's been in so far...

    Notus forced me! I think it's about time I did something with PO on my laptop so I'll join. Help with teambuilding / feedback is required. I have experience on PS, but some teams you see over there...

    Sigurd watched Marcus carefully. He understood the hint perfectly, but wondered at the same time if the Fire Templar knew he was communicating with Boney all this time. He shrugged it off for now and took part in the conversation again and targeted Blue. “You know, for a creature that’s supposed to be smart, you really are blind,” he said. “Helzebeth clearly said her father left when she was fifteen. That means he disappeared a few years ago and she didn’t mention a single word that he could fight or was a ranger or something. You really want to give her so much hope about saving her father while chances are really high he’s already dead?” he walked away from the group a little. “I don’t mean to be a downer, I’m just being real. But I’ll go for the Titan’s Skin. If your information is correct we at least have a lead.” He stopped walking when he gained a little distance from Blue and Marcus. “Yo, Boney, did you hear the clue? Did you hear anything similar about it?”

    DarkLight, Jory, EXLink, Stratos, Notus and everyone else involved Lana nodded to Mareek. “I know what you mean, but I’m used to it by now…” she watched Danielle for a moment. “I wish I could be a little more outgoing like her. She draws a lot of attention, including from boys” She was startled a little she admitted it out loud and put her hand in front of her mouth. “I-I didn’t mean it like that! It’s just that, you know, it seems like fun to be able to talk to everyone…” Her face turned red again and she quickly tried to change the subject. “I think she likes one of the boys that’s battling now,” she said almost whispering to Mareek. Evan was sitting in the grass a little further from Lana and was watching the battle. His Eevee and Cleffa were sitting next to him. He raised an eyebrow after he saw what Slade pulled off. “Who knew Fedora Guy would use such dirty tactics… I hope the other one, what was his name again? Jake? , teaches him a lesson,” he said scratching Eevee behind the ears.

    I think it’s about time I answered my own questions. What do I think of the RP so far? Did I enjoy it? Man, what a work this turned out to be. But yes, I’m having fun. I’m getting ninja’d left and right when updating and a lot of things are happening that I couldn’t predict. (All those people being shipped for example) I guess that’s one of this RPs charms though. What about my writing? Where can I improve? I need to include more details. That map is still coming! xD Which NPC’s feel real / which NPC’s need improvement? There weren’t all that many NPCs introduced and some didn’t get much attention (like Tyron). I focused on the students in this one and a little on Devin. I completely forgot one of the most important characters, Redwood, and didn’t play him very well. He should get more appearances from now on, but he’s the type of character that won’t be around the students. Who is my favorite NPC and why? I think you all know this one Alvin for the win! I really enjoy playing characters like that. He was meant to annoy everyone, but yes, you’ll get to know why he’s like that. Not that it will happen any soon, unless the opportunity arises by something I can’t predict happens. And while Evan isn’t an NPC and isn’t much around, I’m enjoying him as well. I still don’t know which way he’ll go. Who is my least favorite NPC and why? Redwood. I already stated why. What’s going to happen plot-wise (first year)? Not going to tell xD But I’m willing to say this: I will mess around with some PCs. Chapter 3 will focus more on character interaction and development because that’s the basis in the first year. I’m already going to set up some things but I want to create an atmosphere where the PCs have a lot of influence on each other which can change the outcome of some planned events What will I do with the suggestions for events in this RP? Some things that were mentioned were already planned. I also saw some interesting suggestions that I might implement. Commander’s proposal to fight a teacher of some sort while outnumbering him is one of those things, but if it happens: you’re not going to win. Slade’s OP Magnemite is a joke compared to Devin’s weakest Pokémon.

    Still trying to figure it out. Anyway you should only have about 6 Pokémon after the first year. Or people can implement this. I'm doing that right now with Evan and NPC Pokémon. (I would go nuts if I had to remember all of them)

    Stratos All round the perimeter more police officers showed up and hid themselves waiting for the RoG members to come out. Some of them were close to Galen and under his direct command. Team Super Burglars The door suddenly opened and three guards came out. They saw the scrambling and fighting and headed towards the battles. One of them whistled drawing the attention of the Houndour close to Ezekiel’s group. It left to follow orders which only left the Growlithe. If they didn’t make a move fast they would have to deal with the guard dog and the group would surely be exposed. ************ If one of the members would open up the now unlocked door, they would see the reason why they were targeting this place. The entry hall was enormous. A red carpet reached a marble staircase that led to the first floor. Even from their point of view they could see a lot of paintings that decorated both the ground and first floor. The walls on both floors were also made out of white marble. The staircase had 4 expensive looking vases that appeared to be art from Kalos. Two of the vases were placed at the beginning of the staircase; one on each side. The other two, which were bigger, stood on top. On the high ceiling hang a big chandelier decorated with crystals. There were only 2 doors. On one the left and one on the right; both were closed. ******** “Mhm?” Melody mused. “I thought there were six guard dogs. Two Herdier, two Growlithe and two Houndour?” Teach laughed. “That’s right. Is there anything wrong?” he asked with a serious tone, even though he was not. “I think you already know,” Melody answered. “But why didn’t you tell me?” Teach shrugged. “It’s more fun this way. And besides, you might have told Cutie…” He grin showed a bit of his white teeth. “C’mon! Like I would tell anyone about this! By the way, when did it happen?” “The evolution? About two days ago.” Teach grabbed his binoculars back and focused on the recruits. “I wish I could see their face when they see a Houndour in front of them…” “Where is the beast?” Melody asked interested. “We placed him inside, but don’t worry; it won’t attack until the first people steal something and attend to escape.”

    About that; I was thinking to let a student carry max 6 Pokémon at the same time like in the games. That way you won't need to deal with all those characters at the same time.

    I don't see the point in complaining. There are 14(!) students so it's normal the story gets hold up every now and then. In fact I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often since people still have a social life and timezones and everything else you can think of. And keep in mind Azery misses a lot of action with his post pre-view thing and the new PC hasn't even showed up yet...

    It's already said twice. After Jacob's battle. I'm sure none of you would appreciate if I called a battle short and just moved on. You can start a conversation with others in the meantime. (Which I will interrupt if it holds up the story) I agree with this, but I'm not going to tell people they can't give Pokémon thoughts. Everyone is free to find their own way of doing it.

    Since Magnemite is down I can't interfere right now but in future battles: keep it to max 2 attacks and leave a space for your opponent to dodge / reflect some damage. Jacob's Trapinch can still be at half power in this case. (4x effective should've 2HKO'd a sturdy Magnemite at this point anyway) I'm too lazy to look back but someone asked if it was possible to have multiple dragons. The answer is yes.

    Btw I can't update for a while and at this point I don't want to hold things up. I told Snap she can play Lana's part and as for Evan; just assume he's around watching the battle / hanging out with Colin.

    With the other coordinators is up to him, but not with Lana. At this point she only considers Danielle, Claude and Mareek as friends.

    DarkLight, Jory, EXLink, Stratos and Notus “H-he didn’t cause me any trouble,” Lana said with a soft voice. Being around Evan, even though she knew him, made her nervous. She shifted around a little with her feet when Colin joined the group. She knew his name from class but that was about it. While she tried to figure out what to reply Evan’s Cleffa drew all the attention towards her. The little fairy jumped on its trainer’s head and yelled ‘Cleffa’ in an excited way to answer Colin’s question.

    Sigurd eyed Blue. “Well well, if it isn’t the doorman,” he said sarcastically. “And what’s more important than saving a life, you ask? Let’s see…” Sigurd pretended to think. “Maybe saving everyone? How about that? You know, if one guy dies because he wasn’t strong enough there’s not much we can do anyway. Or are you saying we should prioritize the life of one man over others? Without waiting for an answer he turned his attention to Helzebeth again. “He may have taken…” he repeated. “You don’t know anything about that place, do you? Even though you make it sound like you grew up close to that place.” He took a step back and eyed both Blue and Helzebeth. “Alright, I’m not unreasonable, unlike some others in this group, so tell me these local legends and everything else you know about this Titan’s Skin.” Sigurd wouldn’t admit it, but deep down he sympathized with the ranger in front of him.

    Notus “A Gyarados huh?” Evan replied. “I saw one on television once, guess I’ll need an electric type if I want to beat you someday…” he said thinking about potential electric types. He wasn’t really interested, except for maybe a Jolteon. Of course that’s only if his Eevee wanted to. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. It’s not like I have much people I talk to anyway,” he said with a small smile. He grabbed his green hoodie and put it on. Cleffa, who was jumping on Evan’s bed, stopped for a second to watch her trainer. Once she saw he was about to leave, she jumped in the hoodie to ride along. “By the way, I’m going to look for Eevee, do you want to come?” Evan asked Colin, opening the door. ((Just follow if you want. I saw an opportunity to get him to talk to Mareek xD)) DarkLight, EXLink, Jory and Stratos Lana blushed at Mareek’s comment. She felt a little embarrassed since there were people around she didn’t know. “I’m trying,” she said with a soft voice before looking at the battle that was about to start. Even after 6 weeks she found it hard to speak in a group where she didn’t know everyone. The Eevee on the other hand had no problems getting to know people. After it got some attention from Danielle, it walked towards Mareek and started to sniff. Suddenly a loud whistle could be heard and Eevee’s immediately responded. He knew that whistle; it was Evan’s way to call for him. “Veeee!” the little Pokémon yelled as loud as it could. “Oh there you are,” Evan said casually walking over. “Did you cause Lana trouble again?” Cleffa was still in his hoodie and tried to watch over his head at what was going on.

    Sigurd raised an eyebrow. “Your father disappeared,” he said, “which means you have no idea where he is.” He walked over to Helzebeth. “Also, if you are looking for him, why didn’t you go to him immediately? After all, you have a hunch of where he might be. On the other hand you still don’t know if he’s alive, which won’t help us at all, and you even claim he might have encountered it…” he paused for a moment looking at the suspicious ranger. “Don’t get me wrong but these shards or supposed to be well hidden and protected by some powerful guardians, right? And here you are making it sound like he found it by accident and even may have it.” Now he looked directly in her eyes. “What are you hiding? How did you obtain this information and how the hell do you know what’s guarding it? Or is your daddy super powerful and is it him?” Sigurd didn’t care if he turned everyone in the group against him or if he sounded rude, but he wasn’t willing to go search for any other shard without a damn good reason.

    You just want to be involved in the shipping xD Isn't Melody good enough? Oh and updates about the teams: (not including movesets since I'll figure those out when I need to xD) Alvin: Mega Beedrill Dwebble lvl 19 and Combee lvl 18. Lana: Nidorina lvl 17 and Rhyhorn lvl 20. Evan: Eevee lvl 20 and Cleffa lvl 19. (Both of them will evolve during the trip because of storyline. That's why his second is almost at 20 as well)
