Korence, what I don't understand is that you're the only person (excluding Yami) on this forum who says this game is hard. It is challenging, yes, but it's not over the top impossible. I find coming from behind to beat your opponent in a close battle is much more enjoyable than just straight out sweeping all 6 of their Pokemon, and I'm sure many here do as well. I guess it all stems from having competitive experience. As for "not having the Pokemon for it", I had always thought Trubbish was (excuse the pun) rubbish, before I played Reborn. He is now one of my favourites. The game forces you to get to know and love some of the more unheard of Pokemon and that can only be a good thing. Also, you should really give competitive battling a go, it's really fun and it'll help you improve!

Choice Band boosts ATTACK by 50%, whereas type gems boost the power of the move by 50%. It's one-use and doesn't count as an item (i think?) hence why there be acrobatics + flying gem sets about the place...

Well if you are able to teach Twister to Gyarados, then it is in the game. I just tried it in my game and Twister doesn't work for me too, so it'll be a bug

Banette might help for Ep 9 because of Noel. My team were Lv 50 when I started Ep 9 and I had no problems with Serra but that was because I had two fire types and two fighting types. Maybe you should train up a couple more levels?

So Shinies are a lot more common in Reborn... Sometimes to the point where we're walking through the wards and "Oh god, not another one!" Which is the most common Shiny Pokemon you've encountered? I'd say it would have to be Shiny Zubat for me. I've seen like 10-15 of those. I spend way too much time in the Railnet.

Or you can use pickup. All 3 are good ways to get Heart Scales (pickup will earn you some cash on the side ;p)

The game mechanics are essentially the same as Pokemon Black/White 2 (Not BW2) so for movepools, bulbapedia/serebii/whatever will be just fine. As for finding Pokemon, the whole point of the game is to provide a challenge. It you're REALLY stuck then you can ask on these forums and people will gladly help - it builds the community EDIT: Whoops, sorry, Pickup obsession again (pickup lists are BW)

Just sayin'... That Abra has freaking Teleport. It can teleport itself out. And if it's feeling nice, it can teleport the others out of their cages. Heck, why is Abra still there if it has Teleport?!
