So... there was a bug in my toilet for a while, and I did nothing. It was there for at least 4 hours and still tried to swim. I check back after another hour and it wasn't there anymore. Apparently it was washed away... I'm a sadist.

Even though I know my way with Lucina (my secondary), I would like to know how others use her. Maybe I'm missing something. Would vote Robin too if I could, but since nobody has voted for them yet, I have more chances with Lucina.

Well, she has an aquatic-themed(?) lance. Now that everyone mentioned it, it makes more sense to be just a pun on the color blue (her hair, her Hoshido dress, and water although water is not really blue but whatever) There's water in her artwork too:

Meanwhile, back to FE Fates. Aqua's english name is confirmed as "Azura" (Asura). More mythology names, nice.

This is what is rustling my jimmies. Most of the self proclaimed "true FE fans" are bashing the game and saying it will be the 'worst game ever', JUST for this returning feature. Someone at Serene Forest told me a pretty silly comparison of the current situation. I get that some of the fanbase gets pretty annoying, but as every annoying fanbase, can't they just ignore it?

Yeah, I don't see the actual characters from Awakening making a comeback in Fates either. But they might include some references to them in some way, besides the look alikes. We still don't know what kind of DLC they are planning though, so I still don't discard that idea completely.

It makes me wonder how many "returning characters" are going to be in the game(s). I see what you did there.

And it's getting a lot of hate from some 'veterans' as I expected, but it's whatever, you can't please everyone. I'm wondering how they are going to implement the children though, I really hope it's something different from Awakening's time travel.

I read about the 3rd campaign too, but nothing about completing the game first to unlock it or DLC. It was more like, when you reached the chapter when you decide who to help, Hoshido, Norh, or neither. And guess what boyz?

I think both of you are partially right. I'm really hoping that Birthright and Conquest don't have the same story, but at the same time, you can choose your path (like the game originally advertised) regardless of which version you have. There WILL be one, but I wonder if THAT'S the choice you'll have to make in-game though, rather that Hoshido/Norh If you have a 3ds, you should definitely try Fire Emblem: Awakening (FE13) to learn the basics. Got ninja'd with all the relevnat information on the games' relation to each other, but still, I highly recommend Awakening to start.

With all the trailers that popped up yesterday, I'm afraid of spoiling myself... And since it's confirmed that Fire Emblem If... I mean, Fire Emblem Fates (I still have to get used to it), is going to be released as two separate versions (officially named Birthright & Conquest), it's kind of immersion-breaking that you have to make the choice in stores rather than in-game. Still, hoping for that special edition that had both versions together to come out in America. I'm still wondering the differences plot-wise between each version though, I don't quite get it...

Halo 5 Warzone looks interesting as fuck, can't wait to try it. The only thing that worries me is the amount of lag I'll get with 24 players and AI enemies...

Actually, it's a little bit more complex than that. I'll copy-paste some changes to the swords. But I don't know if axes & lances are going to be like this too... It's already comfirmed that weight is not in the game though. But there's the new features that I mentioned above and the weapon triangle revamp. And some characters have new, unique skills. It's going to be fun and interesting using different units to try their skills, like Odin's "Blood Boil".

So... Nintendo/Sakurai says that they won't include Chrom because he will be too similar to the already existing FE characters (i. e. Marth and Ike), then they bring back the OG Marth clone. *claps slowly* I'm not too excited for Roy to be honest, but hopefully they'll change his moveset entirely. And now that I think about it, MAYBE Chrom might have an appearence as an alt costume for Roy, who knows. As for Ryu... I'm not too sure either, but it's kind of the same situation as Snake in Brawl, like someone mentioned above.

Leaving the true critics for another day, Jurassic World was great. Won't spoil anything, but look forward to the return of the OG. It was a nice nostalgia trip too.

Just remember that reclassing is going to be different in If. You can reclass characters, yes, but if I remember correctly, you can only reclass your units a limitied amount of times with that new Parallel Seal, that seems to be the Second Seal replacement. I'm not too sure if Gale Force is making a return, they are balancing abilities by the looks of it and, as you said, Gale Force is too OP, specially with already reclassed units. Like abilities, weapons are getting re-balanced. While there's infinite weapon usage now like in Gaiden, there will be certain advantages when using Iron over Steel or vice versa. This is me right now too, if you haven't guessed.

Speaking of Amiibos, any of you think that the amiibo version of a character (Marth, Lucina, Robin, Ike) has something special or different about them as units? Because I remember reading something about that there will be standard einherjar units (SpotPass) like Awakening had. If they are essentially the same, it will be quite redundant, like those 3 Marths who, you know, were basically the same...

I think the pic is about asking why the children characters from FE: Awakening (you know, Owain, Severa, etc.) are being revealed as Norh version(? characters only, rather than implying that everyone that started playing FE with Awakening is a 'kid' and is choosing Norh. Or am I reading too much into your reply? I don't even know... Waifus always get top priority tho :]

Yep, they WILL be riding on Awakening's success with all the fanservice and whatnot. And let's not forget that Amie-thing from My Castle, it's silly and quite unnecessary, but as someone who NEVER used Pokemon Amie back in XY/ORAS besides to evolve Eevee, it will be fun to try this time around IMO.
