    I haven't been able to contact my friend since August. No email replies, no facebook (that I know of), no responses on her fanfiction.net PM board. I'm really worried, and I'm suddenly reminded of her every time I see someone praise her fanfiction.

      Oh goddammit. I was looking for advice on how to deal with it, not start this "obligation-no obligation" sort of thing. I am fully aware there is little I can do to get back in contact with her. And I wouldn't call 2 years of near constant chat and beta reading a "fleeting moment".

      Neo, I have been there. It is best to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I had a girl named Amelia we talked online and skyped for 2 years and then Poof She was gone. I never heard from her. I still pray she'll say something. I know how you feel brother and Neo, Not to be a jerk, but You can't just "move the fuck on". If it was anything meaningful it will be hard to be let go.
