    I've noticed the key difference between Sonic fans and Mario fans... Mario fans are satisified with pretty much anything Mario. From Sports Games, to Open World, to Side Scroll. Yet, Sonic fans seem to be stuck in the past and don't want any change at all. They want nothing but the old Side-Scroller. It's annoying, it may just be the vocal bunch, but I've never seen so many pairs of nostalgia glasses in my life.

      I think it's more like a majority would prefer the old sidescrollers as opposed to getting stuff like sonic boom, which is kind of a mess.
