AT A GLANCE
Today, ladies and gentlemen, like dear old Summer, I have decided to finally get my league team out because I feel that there's no point to having a trainer card without challenging the league. I started this team outta nowhere and picked some movesets and it turned out to be offensive.
Let's do this.
Sonny @ Life Orb
Ability: Quick Feet
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Charge Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Ice
-Shadow Ball
In my opinion, Jolteon can be a great lead/boosting sweeper, if you make him speedy enough to be able to deal insane amounts of damage over time. Here, Life Orb packs in loads of power while still having freedom to switch up attacks.
Godzilla @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
-Stealth Rock
-Pursuit
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
Tyranitar here is my support for the team, combatting several threats, e.g Latios, Ninetales, and Jolteon. Stealth Rock is a reliability, crippling a decent amount of OU threats. Basically, this is my team's bodyguard.
Rufus @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
-Flamethrower
-ExtremeSpeed
-Morning Sun
-Will-O-Wisp
Arcanine is always a great physical wall, countering or checking a hefty amount of pokemon. While no sun has been set up, Morning Sun recovers 50% of maximum health, and that's aways kickass, plus Will-O-Wisp reducing the target's physical damage.
Bubba @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 SpD
Adamant Nature
-Body Slam
-Earthquake
-Pursuit
-Fire Punch
Snorlax is always needed in an offensive team in need of special tanks who can pack up a good punch in return. Earthquake takes care of Rock and Steel types, Return's a great STAB, Body Slam is excellent for paralyzing, and Pursuit is good for taking out foes like Chandelure and Bisharp.
Optimus Prime @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Meteor Mash
-Bullet Punch
-Hammer Arm
-Zen Headbutt
You want a nuke right off the bat? Metagross. I would put him as my lead, but 135 attack plus Choice Band is enough to make him my ace. Bullet Punch can deal with potential threats, Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt are excellent STABs, and Hammer Arm is another good threat dealer.
Jaws @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
-Protect
-Surf
-Dark Pulse
-Ice Beam
Sharpedo is my only special attacker in this team, but Speed Boost Sharpedo is great no matter what. Protect is seen as a downside, but it's vital forany kind of Speed Boost pokemon to get a guaranteed boost before the kill. Ice Beam is good for dealing with Ground and Grass types, and Dark Pulse is a necessary STAB, along with Surf.
IN CONCLUSION
"Offense is the best Defense" -Summer
^ 'nuff said.
This doesn't feel like my old hyper offensive team, but this one is a hell of a lot better. Wanna test this team? PM me on the server and we'll see.
