Honestly, Xbox did a very good job with the Series X. No complaints from me so far, as it singlehandedly solves the main issue I had when connecting to games: Load screens. For months I've also had Moderate to Open NAT type, and even though for some reason it's been Strict lately, I have still been able to immediately get into games with my friends and stay connected. 100% worth the investment.
