I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say what the first gym is, buuuuut... If you don't want to look at the spoiler, then it's probably best to speculate on who the first gym leader is. Looking back, it's hard to believe it's been 3 years since Reborn's first episode was released. I honestly thought Reborn's game began much longer than that.

After protecting Amaria and the Sapphire Bracelets from the hands of Team Meteor, I head back to Agate Circus and go back inside the Big Top. What if Magiana wasn't even a new legendary? What if it was just a regular Pokemon like Carbink and Lucario? If it WAS a legendary though, I think it would be related to Diancie in some way.
