We are gathered here today for yet another one of Amethyst's completely unprofessional news posts. Yay! That said, we need a new banner for the site, for a number of reasons. This was discussed before, actually, and the Pokemon suggested for it are compiled below. Rather than contracting anyone person to do this, I'm opening the art of making this banner up to anyone who would like to give it a try. REQUIREMENTS: The banner must have our sit name, PokePlace [[Reborn]] The banner must feature Absol and one or more of the Pokemon listed below. The banner must be no larger than the base image provided, and must be constructed on top of that image. No part of the image should be cut off by the bottom or right borders of the image. After a couple weeks, all the submissions will be posted anonymously and voted on. The person who's piece is chosen WILL receive a prize. I hope to see some quality pieces. Um, Dragonz, as far as this topic is concerned so far, no one has her badge yet. That said, as Gardevoir will announce tomorrow, Ice DID beat her. But that's still only one person.

Anyway, I may as well say this here to clear it up: I've heard the reports about triples being too prominent, and I made a tally of how many leaders use what type of battle: 11 Leader use Singles 3 Leaders use Doubles 7 Leaders use Triples. The theoretical probability of getting any time of battle is as such, based on the 15 leaders currently in action: Singles- 8/15 Doubles- 2/15 Triples- 5/15 You can see that Singles are still most prominent. Triples may only seem like they're taking over the league because when they are used, it's more likely that the challenger will lose, and therefore, will have to retry the battle. Therefore, the triples matches end up being repeated more than the singles matches, whereas the actual pairings may in fact be less frequent. There's also the fact that you all could just be focusing on it too much... But point made, I thinkhope.

Yeeeah, the people who've known me longer will know that I typically favor Psychic/Dark/Ghost types, unlike Ikaru, in no particular order, however, given my recent rainophilia I couldn't not say that I don't specialize in water types. ...But only the ones I like. It's funny you make this topic, MasterShaper, I was meaning to do one like this very soon myself anyway.
