I heard the only monotype to beat league was a water mono, back when rain was permanent. I tried to go dark, and i was fairly confident, just changed my mind cuz i didn't want to specialize on it anymore. That and Secundum flawlessly explained to me on how it was suicide.

A steel-type run could be rather fun, perhaps Dragon. I'd love to see a Dark-type run. But Normal really might have the best odds at succeeding.
