Xerneas and Yveltal PLUS the treasures of ruin, PLUS Kyurem-R and Kyurem-Z? I have no chance. Melia is also hard carrying me in this match but even she's not enough and the field has seriously nerfed some of my best mons like Mimikyu. Anyone have any tips? Like recommended Pokemon? I just did most of the paragon route in some intense sessions since I don't have the same free time I used to, and I am overwhelmed and EXCITED to see what happens after I beat these two. 20191 Posted 18 hours ago Share Posted 18 hours ago Stuff that i got recommended in discord where trick room tailwind and using pokemon with rage powder / follow me to cover the magearna and keep it alive since it gets stat boosts every time smth dies i tryed all that and still kinda could not beat it with my team tho after 4 hours i gave up and for the first time ever swapped to story mode this fight is insane if u dont have the right team and even then yeah ... feels a bit to much esp since its very hard to play with a partner that u cant control if u dont use the pw Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
clownfish Posted 8 hours ago Share Posted 8 hours ago Spoiler melia does hard carry here lmao, my advice really is just prioritizing defensive mons to do everything but damaging (even if it's just sitting out on the field as a target or baiting switchouts) and leaving the damage to melia, especially her magearna. the ally attacks are also a free extra turn, gothitelle and absol can both outspeed and ohko the right mon, so you essentially get two free kills (along with several opportunites to heal or keep melia's pokemon alive if that turns out to be more important). for me, starting out with a pokemon bulky or quick enough to set up aurora veil/elysian shield with a light clay bought me enough time to get the ball rolling, and i just focused on keeping myself alive to take as many hits as possible after that (along with a rare damaging move if i could survive the turn and hit hard). the field gives a big advantage to melia once magearna starts picking up traction since dazzling gleam won't be resistsed under any circumstance, so you really only need to focus on setting up your initial defenses. i didn't even notice the ally attacks existed at first (would've been nice...!) and i cleared through it pretty quickly just by setting up aurora veil and more or less existing as bait Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
