You'll end up with a lot of stuff (there's literally one item every five tiles), some of which can be selled for decent amount of money. Just grind off grand hall trainers, change the date on your calendar a day forward for each battle, and keep track of where you are. Plus you'll get some juicy experience. Once you get enough money and your Pay Day Meowth/Persian is at a decent level, you could ev train one Pokemon, money grind with Pay Day and have a pickup team (4) all at once. Productivity!
