Starly?

I searched the forums for starly and apparently when it's windy, there should be a level 15 starly waiting on the roof next to the casino in Onyx ward. Unfortunately when I changed the weather to windy and went up there, Starly was not to be found. The threads about starly were all from older versions of the game, so is it unavailable in version 11.0.2? Sorry if people have asked this before, I'm pretty new to the forums.

Sadly, Starly isn't obtainable anymore- it was removed in Episode 10.5, if I'm remembering right. I think it was deemed "too good", and I can see why, because Staraptor is notorious for being... ehm, powerful.

Magmar might be a bit stronger than what Ame though... Also, even if Florinia has Cradily, you can demolish her team with Magby after the Cradily is gone...

Magmar has advantage against Fern, Florinia, and good coverage all around IMO... I don't think it had anything to do with the event in Magmar's case...

EDIT: Because i'm an idiot, here's a little calculation... Staraptor vs Shuckle:

252+ Atk Life Orb Reckless Staraptor Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Shuckle: 134-160 (54.9 - 65.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Talonflame vs Shuckle:

252+ Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Shuckle: 100-118 (40.9 - 48.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Not to mention Close Combat and Intimidate.

But it was mainly because the event was boring.

Yes, why did she remove the Magby event?

I underestimated Magmar, (probably because Magmortar isn't great competitively-- apparently it's much better in-game). There was basically no point in players picking up any fire type in the game besides Magby because they got it so early and it was so good. It became a must-have, which is something I'd like to avoid.

Yeah, that was the other thing. That's why I made that one harder to get. I was considering removing it, but weather was nerfed at the same time anyway, soooo, less of a problem.

That and it was basically mandatory to beat THE EVIL HAIL WITCH (Serra) so the dual nerf was needed since the weather isnt so powerfull anymore
