Gyaradoskiller Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I'm planning to go into Target to get some Hip-Hop CDs. What are you guys gonna do on Black Friday? Quote
Tempest Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Celebrate my birthday..... And definitly not go shopping. I've seeb news stories about people dieing in the doorbusters from being trampled. Black Friday is crazy. And it's encroaching on Thanksgiving now! Walmarts in my area open on 6pm. Thanksgiving. Obvisuly I'm not a huge fan. Door busters more specifically. Quote

Magus Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I finds quite funny; we celebrate a holiday that is full of thanks, and then the next day we go out a buy things, the two just contradict each other. Quote
Soleil Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I finds quite funny; we celebrate a holiday that is full of thanks, and then the next day we go out a buy things, the two just contradict each other. ... What ever made you think America was a richly cultured society? This is a place where you can find a fast food restaurant around every corner... Case and point. Anyway, I will be waiting patiently until Saturday to watch all of the phone recorded videos of people getting trampled over, or of some entitled bitch getting punched in the face for taking a PS4 out of someone's cart. Stupid Stories of 'Black Friday' Saturday, I like to call it. Quote
Neo Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Because you're the crux of culture and civilization yourself, right? Get off of the pedestal. As for me, my mom gave me a $1000 limit to pick shit that I want from online, so I'll be doing that. Quote
Brockze Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 what she said but then again asda are having a massive sale on saturday so Quote
Gyaradoskiller Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 100% of those Black Friday videos come from Walmart. #nowyouknow Quote
Chevaleresse Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 >judging the entirety of the USA by the actions of the walmart people Quote
Manes Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 My boyfriend was pickpocketed in Black Friday. I'll have to ask which store he was robbed in, but I really do wish American culture didn't seep into Puerto Rico sometimes. ...as for why Black Friday is a thing, I'm told Macy's is to blame. They called it Thanksgiving Sale to boot. Quote
Maelstrom Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Yeah, heavy commercialism is like a disease, isn't it? Now if only they weren't gouging people on prices so much the entire rest of the year, black friday wouldn't be so bad. Quote
