Beldum hunt

Did the beldum hunt and eventually I found it, but this one is hard catch, I used thunder wave and let him hit me using his take down so his health go red. I keep repeating this process and eventually I found this shiny beldum. Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch it. Is there any strat to capture beldum? ( I forgot to bring any ghost types to prevent beldum from damaging himself when it goes red.)

A way to do it is to paralyze it then switch to Alolan Marowak that knows false swipe (the move can't know it out only put it on 1 hp and beldum can't knock itself out because A-Marowak is ghost type) and since it's lvl 1 level balls are useful (You can buy them in critical capture from the male clerk)

Thanks mate!!! Caught it with when its hp was yellow lol. Thoroughly disappointed with its IV but at least I managed to get a shiny one
