Thoughts on this team?

Heya! I've been teambuilding to try and prep for the E4 and whatnot in E19. This is what I've got so far

Notes: assume all needed IVs are at 31 unless specified otherwise.

Scizor - life orb - technician - adamant nature

  • Bullet Punch
  • X-Scissor
  • Swords Dance
  • Acrobatics

EVS: 252 attack, 252 speed, 6 hp

Scizor has a ton of resistances and only one weakness in fire, making it a solid lead pokemon on my team. If I could run u-turn, I definitely would but the tm is not available. It provides excellent damage in technician bullet punch, swords dance for setup if the battle leads with the opponent needing to swap out. Acrobatics is for having a solid move if life orb gets knocked off and bullet punch loses its punch.

Togekiss - choice scarf - serene grace - timid nature

  • Air Slash
  • Dazzling Gleam
  • Aura Sphere
  • Flamethrower

EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp

Togekiss is one of my heavy hitters. I have high hopes for its use in either flinch spamming with air slash or in certain cases being my big counter against certain pokemon I know the E4 will have such as Lin's ace (ran the calcs. even at 252 hp 252 sp. def, dazzling gleam is a 1HKO). I am running scarf because otherwise I am much more likely to be outsped and thus losing that 60% flinch chance.

Sceptile - sceptilite - Overgrow(before mega) - timid nature

  • Dragon Pulse
  • Leaf Storm
  • Energy Ball
  • Focus Blast

EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp.

Mega Sceptile is what I want to use in my mega slot. I would definitely use something more potent like mega mawile or kangaskhan, however kangaskhan seemed a bit bland for me and my team already had multiple ground weaknesses so I wanted a mega to cover that since it is one of the two exploitable type weaknesses my team has. I'm mainly using it for either revenge killing via leaf storm or using it to flat out sweep with dragon pulse and energy ball. I have focus blast mainly as a deterrent for steel types so I'm not required to swap out.

Typhlosion - Grassium-Z - flash fire - timid nature

  • Eruption
  • Focus Blast
  • Solar Beam
  • Nature Power

EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp

Typhlosion is my main solution to the very real problem Laura poses to me: flower garden. Flower garden's field is perhaps one of the most potent fields in this game alongside underwater and big top. There are two ways to combat the probably very rapid ascent into stage 5 where her team will become nigh unstoppable: cut and poisonium-Z to reduce the field's stages and buy yourself more time... or become a pyromaniac and light it up! As you can probably tell, I'm going with the latter option. My hope is if I press eruption, her team will no longer be allowed to exist. She will probably have something to counter that like rain dance ludicolo... but my hope is that is not the case and that I will be allowed to press the nuke button. If it is the case then I will bring a fake out mon just like I did with Shelly. Solar beam is for using the z crystal on non-Laura fights, nature power and focus blast are more coverage

Aegislash - leftovers - stance change - brave nature

  • Sacred Sword
  • King's Shield
  • Swords Dance
  • Shadow Sneak

EVs: 252 hp, 252 attack, 6 defense

Aegislash is my ace. My baby. My free win button. I stall out with king's shield to set up swords dance and go ham with shadow sneak, running sacred sword to counter normal types who would otherwise wall my priority shenanigans. This is my big counter to Anna who is most likely running psychic types, as well as hopefully putting a dent into El's team via sacred sword and resisting normal types due to steel typing (I say resisting because I believe El is going to be fought on holy field which lets normal types hit ghost types.) Aegislash will also probably put a big dent into Heather's team as well since steel types in general just really wall flying types.

RotomWash - wide lens - levitate - timid nature

  • Discharge
  • Will-O-Wisp
  • Shadow Ball
  • Hydro Pump

EVs: 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 hp

So, rotom is my swiss army knife in this team comp. It has wisp to cripple physical attackers, discharge to synergize with mega sceptile's lightning rod, hydro pump for a very strong water STAB to help ease my ground and fire weaknesses and shadow ball because other than aegislash I don't really have an answer to ghost types. I am running wide lens because hydro pump and wisp both tend to miss when I need them most so I'm gonna say NO to that.

Overall I really feel like, given how little info we have on the E4 and champion's teams, this team is pretty well built. It has a lot of resistances and no more than 2 weaknesses in any given type, if any. My only real weaknesses in this team are a lack of ghost resistances, which hopefully won't be an issue given the typings of the E4 (Normal, Flying, Psychic and Grass.) I will porbably just stick with this team but I wanted to share it to see if anyone had some advice or ideas!Screenshot_102.thumb.png.e530b023681d26182758b738cd2d8ec8.png

Just off the top of my head, since your Scizor has Technician Bug Bite is actually better than X-Scissor (unless you're on Factory Field) so I might teach that from the Agate Circus tutors, and maybe give Togekiss a move that can paralyze since SG ParaFlinch is so good. Overall seems pretty good, though you seem to be missing any Ice moves (but without Ice Beam or Blizzard available I don't blame you).

I will definitely use the bug bite suggestion, but I do not really want to use TW on Togekiss due to using choice scarf, which I need to be able to outspeed a non-scarfed hydreigon. As for ice moves.... yeah...

I'd go 190 hp / 252 atk / 66 spe and adamant on Scizor. Swap out X-Scissor for Bug Bite because of Technician and then give it Roost instead of Acrobatics, then a Leftovers. But I prefer bulk over pure glass cannon personally.

Also, did you debug in Scarf or am I missing something?

I obtained scarf through the thief-fling-recycle strat via Indra in Agate Circus.
