Is it worth starting a new run right now?

My old PC broke and contained all of my saves and I wanted to make sure. Is it safe to download and start a new save now or should I wait until the next update releases in case of new early content?

I think waiting would be a good idea. Ep 19 should be dropping within the next few months (fingers crossed) and as its the final instalment there is gonna be quite a few changes in the early and mid parts of the game. I think it would be worth the wait.

heyho,

if you intend on going hard in the postgame it might be a good idea to start a run now, as quite all non legendary pokemon are available as of ep.18, which means the grind for your worlds best team can already be done.

 

If you'r not about these postgame struggles or regard a second playthrough after e19 comes as a bad thing then i would recommend you to wait a little longer.
