How restrictive are you with your Nuzlocke encounters?

I'm starting a regular Nuzlocke run, but I'm wondering, how restrictive are you with encounters? Obviously there's just one grass/water encounter in Lower Peridot, for instance (in the garden or aquarium) but how forgiving are you with fixed encounters? Take em all? Just one? I do be curious

If there's an area with both, get the wild encounter, but just one static encounter. Seems pretty fair. Otherwise, just get one static encounter.

I did a run with one random encounters and all static encounters, but that made the game a bit easy (at least to the point I arrived without losing the save file) cause I had so much choice. It's probably better to do a static per place only tbh. And maybe you should decide before hand whether you want to keep shinies too.

Yeah, it's better if you don't implement the shiny clause... It trivializes the whole challenge

I guess it's better to be strict with the encounters so that you don't get that voice in your head saying, "You cheated." Reborn has a lot of gift & static encounters. So taking only 1 from each area seems right.
