This league is built to test your skill with the league challenge, play with friends & foes in a tri-team tournament, play around in our modified field system on showdown, and even our very own draft league! ╔═════════════╗ ║ Chromatic League ║ ╚═════════════╝ What we are about: » We are a community of Pokémon fans who have created a Pokémon league with some special features. » For our Gym system, we use a custom coded Pokémon Showdown server! We got Reborn fields and Rejuv's Crests allowing for creative choices in team building, and overall, an easier time with the process. » The league promotes rivalry and challenge for both Gym leaders and Challengers. Instead of the boss battles that you see in Reborn or Rejuv brought on by their field buffs, we focus on fighting a gym leader with as even of footing as possible because we believe that the Challengers should earn their badges fairly. » We also have an ongoing event called the Tri-Tournament where 3 teams battle it out to earn points in different events and games including art contests, tournaments, King of the Hill, and a Pokémon gameshow! Surgent Posted November 6, 2020 Share Posted November 6, 2020 I am going to try and make this a weekly thing keep you all updated, well at least the people who want to keep updatedTri tournament - Season 1 of the tournament has ended and team destruction has won! - for next season we are going to have gyms and the E4 into it so you can collect badges and earn points for your team! The format the gyms will follow is Nat Dex UU - we are almost done reworking the point values system to make sure everything is worth doing. - working on a specials event we are calling field wars (still wip its complicated to program into showdown and especially so since we want to make all the fields into one format) - to join the next tri tournament join the server and sign up in the google forum - our next gameshow will be family feud and we need help filling out the survey (48 responses) https://forms.gle/mCckdbg9ugD6ujAy6 link to survey please spread it aroundGyms - working on adding more fields (like the underwater field!) - The E4 now no longer take up type slots! so fairy, psychic and bug are now open for gyms! - we have open gym slots for aspiring leaders! Surgent Posted December 19, 2020 Share Posted December 19, 2020 Tri-Tournament - Season 2 will be starting 1/4/21 - the schedule for the events can be seen in the points tracker - it will start off with skirmish (a even where teams select members to represents them in selected formats in a 3 person round robbin) - we will then have the Pokémon gameshow partway through we are doing family feud as the theme for this season - it will then go to the tri tournament cup qualifiers (Swiss-system top 8 go into tournament proper gen 8 nat dex uu) - then the tri tournament cup proper - meanwhile we will have the the gyms run UU teams for the participants to collect badges and challenge the E4 for points with a art contest at the very endGyms - our one format all fields project is up and working! - transitions for fields work we just now need to finish making them and then implementLeague - we are preparing to dawn for all of our showdown battles as the wonderful people over there have helped our programmer implement the new fields system faster and better then he could have on his ownDraft - talk to VanillaSnorlax if you are interested in the draft - our draft season is coming to a endOther - We now have the following formats for the fields UU, OU, AG meaning you can play how you want! - our resident programmer has recently finished a playthrough of Pokémon colosseum and Pokémon Colosseum XD. Surgent Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 (edited) Tri-Tournament - Season 2 will be ending 2/15 - the tracker has been updated a ton it even has a tab that is used to calculate points so you can see where the yall come from - so far order is winning by a margin with destruction close on its heels - so far we are thinking of doing doubles for the tri tour cup and the mini leauge for season 3 - current ideas for next seasons gameshow is: Pyramid (have people guess a pokemon off facts like dex entries), maybe try a who wants to be a milionare one (Each team seperate see how far they can go), some people want wheel of fortune but I would need to look into that), I want to do the price is right but honeslty not sure. - thinking that there will be a week or two break between seasons maybe more if we want a event inbetween as we had a christmas themed 12 days of christmas tour with each day being a new feild. Surgent Posted March 17, 2021 Share Posted March 17, 2021 It has been a while so if anyone is interested here is the latest update.Tri tournemnt - Latest season is starting on the 18th we are doing nat dex doubles for this season, our double feild format is working nicly - We have streamlined it with just the Tri tournament cup (a nat dex doubles tournament), the gameshow, skribble, art contest and gyms. - The gyms have gotten their doubles teams ready for the TT ready to have some fun!Community days - we now have community days: when we are not having the TT every week or sometimes two times a week we will have a speed tour or play games like jackbox. Gyms - feilds got several updates along with some formatting changes to make it easier to read, just general balancing and effects to promote mon diversityDraft - Our draft forum is out! join the discord and fill it out it is pinned in announcment it is posted by vanilla snorlax - this season we will be having feilded drafts! Other - progress on shadow pokemon is keeping steady the big challenge is adding all those moves to every pokemon (though every pokemon is not getting every shadow move, more standard distrobutin) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
