Those goddamn fossils.

Good day everyone, I.....kinda have a problem with the fossils, particularly hunting shiny fossil pokemon.

If you wanted know why have I have a problem shiny hunting them, it's because I have been hunting some of the fossil pokemon for Arceus knows how long, like Shieldon to which I hunted it since yesterday evening and also Tirtouga who I have been hunting for 2 or 3 hours and now I am dead on the inside, because of this.

I really don't know what kind of hellish shiny rate is for the fossil pokemon (even though I have the Shiny charm) and I don't if I have the bad case of the shiny fossil pokemon unluckiness or the shiny rate for these pokemon is that broken.

And sorry if I am kinda whiny about this, it's because I have given up already and tired of all of this. Let me know if you have the same problem as me and I know I can breed them, and hope they are shiny, but I am up for a challenge to get them shiny from the fossil reviver. And might all of you have a good day.

I never really had this problem with fossils but Pokemon with 1 in 8 chances in general for me seem to take longer to find a shiny of regardless of gender

It just seem like bad rng in general. It took me a couple days to breed some of them shiny even with the charm. 3% is still low in the long run but significantly better then in cannon games

I thought I had bad luck on my side, but today I finally got my shiny Tirtouga this morning *cue the fanfare*.
