is it possible to get a own tempo rockruff if you breed one with that ability?

So i started breeding my own tempo rockruff for fire fang and better ivs but it keeps giving me normal ability's so is it not possible to breed a own tempo for own tempo?

Yes, or you can also use an ability capsule.

pretty sure you can't ability capsule Own Tempo on at least last i heard you couldn't

You can't ability capsule Own Tempo on Rockruff. You will only either, Steadfast, Keen Eye and Vital Spirit, since are Rockruff original abilities. Own Tempo rockruff can only be obtained by a special trade at Oceania Pier, and I don't think it can be obtained by breeding.

ik i meant more like i did the trade and then i was trying to breed it for fire fang on it but im assuming that isnt possible?

You can get a Rockruff with Fire Fang as an egg move with the following pokemon: Arbok, Growlithe, Arcanine, Rhyhorn, Flareon, Snubbull, Granbull, Houndour, Houndoom, Donphan, Poochyena, Mightyena, Exploud, Mawile, Electrike, Manectric, Shinx, Hippowdon, Lillipup, Stoutland, Sandile, Darumaka, Darmanitan, Litleo, Pyroar, Litten, Torracat, Incineroar, Yungoos, Lycanroc-Midnight. But you won't get an Own Tempo by breeding it.
