Global Mods Dreamblitz 1056 Posted October 12, 2018 Global Mods Share Posted October 12, 2018 I've always thought MCY looked too similar to regular Charizard (especially with how different MCX is) and wanted him to be darker red similar to Charmeleon. Gamefreak/TPC doesn't give him enough love so here's some from me: I actually posted these in Discord a while ago, but I figured I'd do the backsprites and put them here now. I don't think MCY can actually show up legitimately in Reborn in the current episode, but whatever. Swampellow 116 Posted October 12, 2018 Share Posted October 12, 2018 I figure that Charizard Y is the same color as regular charizard because it is meant to be the more "natural" mega evolution, especially because X is very clearly the fan-service mega evolution.
