Reborn Mac Guide 2: Electric Boogaloo (2 Methods in One)!

I GOT REBORN TO RUN ON CATALINA!! : D

 

It can be a tad laggy and I haven't figured out how to get mods working, but it runs and I haven't had any issues so far!

 

I used a program called CrossOver. Yes it costs $ but there is a free trial or you can get older versions that work fine with a little digging.

Oh and you may have to disable Gatekeeper before running CrossOver. Its easy to turn off before playing/on when done. 

 

To disable Gatekeeper:

Open Terminal and type sudo spctl --master-disable

To re-enable, do the same but replace disable with enable. 

 

The other option is mirroring Windows but that's infinitely more complicated. Hopefully this finds someone and can help as I know lots of people were asking!

Saved Games are also located within Wine, you get to them by clicking the Wine icon at the top of the screen, going to file manager, then going to Users, (your user), saved games, Pokemon Reborn.

Hi,  I have played ep 18 with wine setup on mac os 10.12 and now that the ep 19 dmg is available I tried to recover my game.rxdata and continue from there. Anyway, with the ep 19 app I am not able to swap game.rxdata since I cannot locate the new saving location. Furthermore, I tried to use wine methods on the Win7 .exe and wine simply is not opening the executable at all. I would like that at least one of the 2 methods will work.

Hello, I don’t know if you will respond but you said to choose the WS9Wine1.8 but the lowest it goes for me is WS9Wine2.0

Is it ok to just go for the 2.0 version?
