Zangoose?

I've been told in game that Zangoose can be found in Route 3, usually towards the end. I've been searching for some time, both during day and night and have yet to bump into one. Does the 'end' mean I need to be searching in the golden grass right before the new town? Or is there something else I'm missing?

Edit: I believe Zangoose is also listed in Mirage Forest; is my chances better there? Or am I missing some special spot I can only get to later, perhaps by surf?

I think any part of Route 3 is fine, I personally found one in the spot between the caves. Zangoose is just very rare.

Well i found mine around the end of the route , but its preety damn hard to find it took me one hour to find because the first one i killed (my mystake).

Thanks for confirming that Zangoose is around  Hopefully I find one soon

Zangoose isn't obtainable in Route 3 (it might have been before but as of E17 it's not). You either have to do the hide-and-seek event or find it as a 10% encounter in the alleyways in neoreborn
