Lucreto Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Spoiler In the 2nd chapter, are you supposed to defeat the Nihilego? If yes, how did you do it? It's super annoying that the level cap is 35 as well and I feel I can get few to no hits at all at it.
Lucky98 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I beat it with Quick Claw Perish Song I don’t think you have to beat it though since the game carries on as if it beat you even if you win
Lucreto Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 Ah, thank you. By the way, where did you find quick claw?
Lucky98 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 It was somewhere in the forest as a hidden item. Don't remember the exact location
Tenjous Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Another way is to level up gastrodon at level 35 Gastrodon can eat a hit and paralyze with body slam the lucario can 2hko with bone rush
Autumn Zephyr Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 ...I completely forgot about the Quick Claw. Oops. On the flipside, a Lv. 33 manectric with almost maxed Speed EV's is still slower than it, which is fairly helpful knowledge. I'll let you guys know if that's still the end result once it hits the cap.
Cyphre Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I just waited for my Bone Rush to crit with 5 hits and one shot him honestly (with Lucario). Just some resets.
Aboodie Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Quick Claw Perish Song is the best strategy I guess, though I managed to pull a Quick Claw Confuse Ray w/ Vulpix then Earthquake w/ Gabite did the job.
Hally Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Quick claw with gabite earthquake will ohko it outright if quick claw triggers. If you grind HP and SpD to about 150 EVs each (do it south of vivian's tree), gabite will actually live the moon blast hit and OHKO back without needing the quick claw. (Using all your rare candies on gabite and pray he listen would also let you live the moonblast and OHKO with earthquake in return.)
