First EL fight Strategy?

So i am playing through the game again got hardstuck at the El fight with the Ditto Arceus. The original cheese strat does not work because they moved the location where you get magnezone evolution (sturdy&mirror coat). And even the items Focus Sash, Quick Claw and Focus Band are not obtainable until now as it seems. I checked the Item guides and it looks like they are all outdated.

 

If someone has Information about one of these items or has another cheese strategy that does not require hours of grinding or breeding any answers are welcome.

Magneton sturdy + thunderwave should get you a fair distance.

Thanks all ill go with Dophan, kinda forgot he was in there. I don't see what T-wave would to for me when he has 2 Fullheals and i got no Pokemon with Toxic/not enough revives to stall him.

For the record, the Focus sash from the first area in the underground ( by the sand falls) is still there. And iirc Focus Band is still in the same place in the department store.

Also, Curse. You could use focus band/sash to put a Curse on him.

you could try quick claw + Perish Song/Destiny Bond as well

This fight is not that hard, just bring fighting type, as an example, an EV trained infernape close combat get half of the HP.

T-Wave lets you set up either perish song or desitiny bond without having to use up the focus sash.

I used Magneton and T-waved it 3 times.

Btw Focus sash IS obtainable. I used Sash Yamask to beat Solaris. XD
