Make a Glitch

Is there any way to intentionally create the glitch field? I thought I remembered reading something about it being able create it. Maybe using conversion in odd circumstances. I wanted to do a Glitch run of the game

I think the field notes say you use conversion, then conversion 2? taking 2 turns for it is pretty annoying though
