Zargerth Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Link Heart is basically an item that replaces trade evolutions. You just use one on, say, Graveler and it evolves to Golem. The vendor should be in Route 3 I believe.

There is an item guide which tells you where to find the Link Hearts.

Ddubs Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Maybe u do need the magmarizer. I haven't gotten that in the game yet but maybe u need it to hold the item then use the link heart and that might as well go for all the other pokemon that go by hold item trade evolution.

Does it have to be holding a magmarizer? Yes. You also need the corresponding item (same goes for, say, Poliwhirl to Politoed: you also need King's Rock). Link Heart is only "Trade Stone".
