Combat Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I've played it a couple of times. It's really, really good and I'm not even a huge hack and slash fan. Quote
YinYang9705 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 My brother owns it, and I've seen him play it a few times Quote
Arkhi Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I don't know that I like most Hack n Slashes, but I absolutely loved Dust. Clean combat, neat chain combo system, great characters, the game's got it real good. Quote
Cepheus Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 The game is gorgeous, and has a nice story 'shrouded in mistery' the end of Chapter 2 wrecked me emotionally... (I think it was chapter 2... the underground chapter) and as for combat - that Corkscrew-attack in the air with Lightning Element is super OP xD Quote
Cobalt996 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Everything after getting all the spells is a blur of lightning. That plus aerial dust storm gave so much freedom of movement. Also massive damage, I guess. Quote
AdamantSpartan Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I played it a while back (but I never beat it. Bad habit..), but it was a ton of fun. It's a Metroid-vania style action RPG similar to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I got maybe 50-70% completion before I stopped, and like Cobalt said, with I think 3 different types of magic, I was able to literally roll my fingers across the buttons and steamroll my way through enemies with their "combo" system. But there is also a hard difficulty setting I never played and I'm guess that strategy isn't as effective there. It's worth playing if you like hack'n'slash games in my opinion. Quote
