I've played it a couple of times. It's really, really good and I'm not even a huge hack and slash fan.

I don't know that I like most Hack n Slashes, but I absolutely loved Dust. Clean combat, neat chain combo system, great characters, the game's got it real good.

The game is gorgeous, and has a nice story 'shrouded in mistery' :D

the end of Chapter 2 wrecked me emotionally... (I think it was chapter 2... the underground chapter)

and as for combat - that Corkscrew-attack in the air with Lightning Element is super OP xD

Everything after getting all the spells is a blur of lightning. That plus aerial dust storm gave so much freedom of movement. Also massive damage, I guess.

I played it a while back (but I never beat it. Bad habit..), but it was a ton of fun. It's a Metroid-vania style action RPG similar to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I got maybe 50-70% completion before I stopped, and like Cobalt said, with I think 3 different types of magic, I was able to literally roll my fingers across the buttons and steamroll my way through enemies with their "combo" system. But there is also a hard difficulty setting I never played and I'm guess that strategy isn't as effective there.

It's worth playing if you like hack'n'slash games in my opinion.
