Choose me a starter Pokemon Rejuvenation for my 4th run.

I've finished my 3rd run, but it was really boring. So now i want to spice things up. This will be my last run, and will be my main save file once v6 hits. I haven't given the Water type starters much chance, since i can get a Mudkip and a Froakie in game. I've only tried Turtwig once, and i absolutely loved it. So please choose for me, and if you're kind enough, explain why you choose that starter by commenting. I will only put Bulbasaur in there if Jan himself says that there would be a way to get Sludge Bomb and Giga Drain in v6. And please don't mention Chimchar/Torchic, i've got bored of those 2 after 3 runs.

Piplup is great early on. Defiant and good Special Attack means this Pokemon can be mixed, which is really the reason why I chose it before.

Why ? He has an ok moveset imo. Just need to delay evolution to lvl 21.

Because in most or all gym battle, he's pretty much dead.

1st - Poison gym, enough explained.

2nd - Keta's signature move, enough explained.

3rd - Defeated quickly

4th - Gengar is enough said or ghost gym in general.

5th - May be good, but ice beam every day.

6th - Crawli and it's bug type.

7th - Death.

But from level up, water and steel moves is just squrtle only useful moves, except if breeding is in.

It's for same too piplup, except final evolution typing and hidden ability. Piplup have defiant > Rain dish is squrtle's hidden ability.

Piplup! It's got a much more versatile move pool than either cyndaquil or squirtle (drill peck, steel moves, & more!!)

My torterra sweeped through the whole 3rd gym by himself he can also OHKO chandelure and is very useful in the 4th gym.

Go for turtwig.
