So I heard on "on the hunt" that there is a garden where Cherubi can be found.

Cherubi in the base game has a 5% chance of holding miracle seed.

Is this chance in tact in Pokemon Reborn? Can I hunt down this item and similar "held items" by catching tons of a random pokemon?

I don't know for use, but I'd think not? I mean, Ame has removed King's Rocks from wild Hawlucha, made Black Sludge on Trubbish super rare, etc, etc. I doubt she'd have left something that useful. Don't quote me on that though.

You can find one in Azurine Island, in the south. And King's Rock and Black Sludge have special effect, Miracle Seed is just a small power boost so I don't think it's nerfed

Getting a Pokemon with Compound Eyes in the first slot of the party should be good since it increases the chance of Cherubi holding Miracle Seed from 5% into 20%.
