Stealth Rock and Counter or Swords Dance and Stealth Rock?

Sutoratosu Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Finals= the death of all students someday Anyways, I think I'm gonna try a different approach to building the tactics and final sets for Mareek's team- giving them all their roles and then giving them creating their sets to match those and the prescribed personalities of them all explicitly instead of doing it the other way around and giving roles after. This way I think would work better with the whole concept of all his party members being willing individuals rather than simple followers. Case in point being Nemo- I imagine that after evolution, given the ruthless and mericless nature of Marowak's, he'd stop caring so much about what Mareek taught him about honor and instead become a bit of a Carol-type (yes, carol from TWD) of character, prioritizing doing what needs to be done both on and off the battlefield before thoughts of whether it was "Honorable" or not- which in itself will manifest as him being willing to resort to using Toxic if he can't handle an opponent with his martial skills by themselves. Of course, this would probably also lead to a few conflicts with Mareek as he may do things like go behind his back if he feels it's necessary...

Tacos Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I just kind of realized that when Lila fights Kiai in Robert and Ryan's battle later, the only effective thing Lila can do is spam Bulldoze and stack defenses. Feel like I'm playing a main Pokemon game, just spamming a super effective move.
Chim Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Water types that might fit James: - Golduck (can play pranks, looks playful) - Cloyster (same as Golduck or just be a mean one) - Barbaracle / Kabutops - Octillery (this one is original and there are ways to play around with him) - Ludicolo (same as Golduck but less effective) I think either one of those fit James aside from Jellicent.
